My town is notably attractive to tourists because among other things we can see the stars at night. We call bright illumination, light pollution. This resort could learn a lesson here. It could improve its attraction to visitors who would enjoy the stars and the moon glow on the water. And at the same time stop endangering the birds. Birds are also a major attraction to many tourists so the benefit would be 3 fold.
