He is Jaime Ferrero , former candidates of a political party in Spain tortured and killed cats and took pictures of them. If this gets passed, that will be outrageous!!! Who comes up with these ideas??!!! To classify cats as wildlife?? What's next, dogs?? Why stop there, have all pets classified as wildlife..... then might as well finish the legislation and classify humans as wildlife, right? I mean, if somebody (whoever the A-HOLE who thought this beauty up) can says our pets, like children to us, are wildlife..... then take it all the way and have evry living thing on this planet consider wildlife and everyone can hunt anything....... this legislation is just plain STUPID and definitely shouldn't be passed.
BTW, I'd pay good money to smack the sh*t out of that POS in the pic....

New Aimee, I expect the cats wish that they were not dead and part of the picture!

Domestic cats are, by definition, domestic animals and not wildlife (unless you are trying to give them a tablet). I suspect that any legal challenge would win.

It would also include the suggestion made in the petition that there is no way that the hunter would be able to tell a loved pet from a stray. Another problem is that if the cat has dependent kittens, they will starve to death. Is that not cruelty to animals which is surely covered by animal legislation.
