The undercover video at www.PETA.org , shows dogs and cats being screamed at with profanities, soaked with water from hoses, having teeth pulled with inadequate sedation. One worker deliberately pushed a cat's face into a chain link fence and when the

This story tore my heart wide open. I was weeping so hard while reading the description that I couldn't bear to watch the video. Once again PETA comes to the aid of the voiceless! I am immensely grateful to their undercover investigator who endured nine months in this hellhole. Thanks for posting this important petition, Simone - noted, signed and forwarded!

thanks for the forward anne. i just saw katie couric being interviewed for 'stand up to cancer'. she was calling all the researchers heroes. i can't believe she's never seen one of these videos. or she has and she just doesn't care. i think if people are going to support animal research, they should have the integrity to seek out and watch all of these videos.

Thanks for posting this, Simone!
Thanks Anne K. for bringing this to my attention.
Catherine Turley, you speak great words of wisdom. I totally agree!
Under the law, I believe it is a felony to make undercover videos in places such as these (and factory farms, etc.). So BRAVO to the PETA undercover worker for bringing this tragedy to the public's attention. I'd like to see the video shown on TV and billboards at least once on the hour, in HIGH DEFINITION!

Good God, who are these people? What are they doing working with animals anyway? I hope that PETA makes copies of the video and sends them to every TV news broadcast in the USA - and hopefully to the rest of the world. Those animals didn't deserve that - especially when they're going to be killed and dissected. I hope that the publicity gets every laboratory that uses animals shut down - for good. Hooray for PETA!

Human beings are a DISPICABLE species, we deserve to be punished for what we are doing to the planet & our fellow inhabitats of Mother Earth. I signed this petition in the hope that one day all animal experimentation would be abolished worldwide & that cruelty towards animals would become extinct. Here's hoping...

VICTORY! To the 1,025 Care2 members who signed this petition (and the 3,457 who signed the related "Release Clementine" petition), I want to pass on this BREAKING NEWS:

Investigation Victory!!! Just one week after PETA released the results of its shocking undercover investigation of North Carolina-based contract animal testing facility Professional Laboratory and Research Services, Inc. (PLRS) and filed a complaint with the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), PLRS is surrendering nearly 200 dogs and dozens of cats and shutting its doors for good. This is a monumental victory and the first time that a laboratory has been forced to surrender animals and close under pressure on the heels of a PETA investigation and while facing a formal USDA investigation.

GREAT WORK, everyone! This is a significant victory for PETA and animal advocates around the globe. It gives me renewed hope that one day soon, needless animal testing will be abolished!
