what a lowlife scumbag coward. got nothing better to do than kill such a gentle creature and maim the baby. anyone can kill a defenseless creature. get a life and do something worthwhile for a change - rescue, respect, protect and love all god's creatures.

Noted with sadness, what kind of person/s would wish to do harm to an innocent baby and mother kangaroo,is beyond me, what a sickening and cruel thing to do,i do hope they find the evil person/s responsible and they get the treatment they deserve,my heart and prayers go out to Frodo and wishing her a full recovery and a safe future to never be harmed again, what wonderful vets, thank you to them for all the care and love they are giving Frodo, also thank you Simone for keeping us up to date and for all your hard and tireless work that you do for all the beautiful animals who need our love and care.liz findlay.Xx

the person who did this is not sick; that person is evil. how about sentencing the fool to hundreds of hours of working at animal sanctuaries/rescue groups doing something useful, like picking up the animals' feces?

Thanks so much for the update Simone!! Poor little sweetheart!! I hope she has stopped wishing for death and gathers strength enough for a full recovery!! I also hope she goes where she'll be safe!! I think she's had more than enough horror for one little girl.

Poor darling little animal! I am so shocked! I naively thought that EVERYONE here loved our koalas! How COULD anyone do this? They must have been under the influence of drugs, or something. I am sure no-one in their right mind could do this. Koalas are one of God's best inventions and so harmless! I am still REELING to think that this has happened. The only good thing is that koalas are fairly independent creatures and so, when this little guy grows up, he will probably want to be by himself most of the time anyway, so he probably won't miss his mum for too long. Big healing hugs Frodo!

Noted and I hope they have the people who did this or at least the person. I love Koalas and there aren't many left as it is so why shoot them, or was it supposed to be fun??? I think he must have been on drugs or booze! No sane person would do such an awful act!
