Although we have safer options for controlling fleas on our pets, the EPA still allows dangerous pesticides, such as propoxur, to be used in flea collars. Tell the EPA to ban these toxic chemicals in pet products.

These terrible collars kill pets, it's only logical that they're harmful to all living beings. Signed

I use eucalyptus oil in the water when bathing my dogs and a spray of natural oils including cedarwood in water keeps their bedding & my pals happy & healthy. We should always seek natural alternatives and put these nasty chemicals off the market. If people don't buy them they will cease to exist!

I worked as a dog washer (1988). Flea dipped dogs. The dip took my fingernail polish off by the end of the day!!! Don't know what they use now. Be real careful when using Pennyroyal to combat fleas. It's natural but it will and did kill a cat someone was petsitting. I used flea dip liquid (1975)on my wood floor and it took off the varnish..fleas were still hopping around the next day. hopefully, there are better things on the market today.

My cat is an indoor cat, but sometimes she has to go into a Cattery so a collar is used while she is in there.
