Signed for both roomate and myself. Yes, the human mind is amazing in it's ability to rationalize and judge what species has more value than another. But ultimately, we all end up the same way. HA!

I wish, oh how I wish. But the NRA owns Washington and I don't think that this would ever get a nod. Also, hunting is a strong cultural characteristic of many Americans everywhere. I am very anti-hunting and I salute you, Simone, for putting this petition out there.

Even calling it "fun hunting" makes me cringe. I really do believe that getting enjoyment out of taking another being's life is a form of mental illness. If an animal attacks a human, or even shows aggression toward a human, they are hunted down and killed because they are such a danger, yet we have open seasons for slaughter and even mount the dead animals' heads on our walls to show what great murderers we are.

Noted and signedThanks Simone.I noticed when I signed there were only 56 signatures,a lot more are needed.Although not a U.S.citizen I oppose so called fun hunting in every country including my own.I cannot understand how anyone can derive pleasure from killing another creature .I think our chances to putting an end to it are well nigh impossible but we must keep trying.Unfortunately there is a cruel streak in so many people and we cannot change them.
