Congratulations to Botswana!
"Botswana does very well with its high-end photographic safaris which are world-renowned."
Conservation through the lens of compassion and love ... let's hope that other countries e.g. Tanzania , will follow this amazing example.

Photo safaris are the only way to go and the wisest choice when it comes to wildlife.
A picture is worth a thousand words, and a life is priceless ...

Wow, glad they took this step. We need to protect our wildlife, not kill it. :)

Animals should only be shot with cameras. We've lost so many to the greedy who claim this planet and her inhabitants as theirs and theirs alone. Thank you for this heartening news.

This is great news and yet sad.Why do they wit 'til the numbers get so low though? It seems like one should be able to see the trend before numbers decline that much.

This refers to a report in a Botswana newspaper of 19th July, 2011, which suggests that the Botswana government is considering banning all hunting. Don't get too excited just yet.

It is time that Botswana took this step. I have many friends in Botswana, which is a really forward-thinking African country, and I am so pleased at this news.
