Madhya Pradesh has 257 tigers, but is without a wildlife doctor. This fact has come to light through an RTI application.

i wonder if there is some kind of 'doctors without boarders' for wildlife?

Isn't India the place where females are also ignored as important? Why then should we be surprised about these animals? Part and parcel of the same mindset ... disgusting.

This is a very urgent issue and I hope that India takes this need very seriously because it can mean life or death to a sick or injured animal and there are only so many tigers left in the world. Get qualified doctors asap.

Seems to me that there should be vets from around the world that would love to have that kind of experience.

There must be more of an all out effort to get a vet for these animals. We are losing tigers daily, they simply cannot let this go on.

What the hell is going on in the world, if you have a problem you take care of it right away, there are a lot of Vets that would love to help out!

Oh my goodness! Tigers are so endangered that I cry when I read of them being killed and here are 257 magnificent animals with no one to care for them properly. Humans are so STUPID!

I hope they go outside of their country and can find a good Doctor for these beautiful cats. Perhaps that Doctor can train others to assist and give these animals a chance that they deserve.
