Everyone at Lilongwe Wildlife Centre has fallen head over heels in love with our latest arrival. She came late last night after a long drive from the South of Malawi, thanks to many lovely and helpful people.

If I had magical wish for people who smuggle/poach/exploit wildlife would be this:

We have servals at our zoo and they're wonderful animals. They do NOT belong in private hands...I hope this little one will be carefully evaluated and, if not capable of living in the wild, will become part of a breeding program. At least, her genes will be part of the future.

Thank god those tourists didn't just walk away. Who knows what would have happened to that poor cat. I am hoping she'll be OK and learn to live with others of her species.

How was this little sweetie orphaned? And what did they do to the POS trying to sell her? Big thanks to the poeple who got the ball rolling on this rescue. My wish is that this beautiful cat stays free. TY Simone

What a cutie. I hope she can survive on the cow's milk until the kitten milk comes. So sad she lost her mom and will have to live her life in captivity. What happened to the salesman? Hope he was hanged.
