These beautiful animals do not belong to man, they belong to nature, not to the captivity.

How ironic that the very people that slaughter these wonderful creatures brutally every year now want to profit even more from their misery and deprivation. It would be more of a tribute if they stopped hunting and capturing them altogether. Shame on these people, have their no compassion, no empathy, no moral ethics?

signed. They just don't give up on using whales and dolphins, do they? It may "seem" like a compromise, but at the expense of more marine mammal misery.

If dolphins could speak, I don't think most of us would want to hear what they have to say, about our behavior towards animal species.

The japanese shouldn't even be allowed to swim in the ocean. They are unbelievably dangerous to ocean dwelling animals.

A nature park? there is nothing natural about this idea. It is like making a person live her/his life in a tiny closet. Whales/dolphins need space. Can they get any more stupid and cruel?

Nix the net and develop a way to talk to the whales and dolphins. Hire them to swim in and perform, for a daily 'wage'. The cetaceans swim free after the daily performance. Perhaps healing medical studies and therapy would also be developed in expiation for past slaughters and that could be part of Taiji's payment to the oceanic performers.

These are the freaks who gleefully hack and kill and bathe in the blood of innocent cetaceans and they want to open a marine park? Not bloody likely if we all have something to say about it. S&N thanks Simone.

If I want to see dolphins or whales I turn on the television. One day I hope to see dophins swimming in the sea, that is if the doplphins want to show their presence to me.

I would put the low-life's that put these innocent animals in tanks in a tiny space to live for the rest of their live's, so that they can feel what its like to live in a cram space with no chance of ever leaving!!

Read, noted, signed & left comment on, thanks Simone! This is really almost unbelievable that Taiji, Japan, of all places, would even consider this. They already have a very bad reputation, worldwide, for their blood-bath slaughter of dolphins! (As seen on "The Cove"). So now they wish to "create" a dolphin/whale park, by forcing these creatures into captivity! This is at least, not as barbaric or deadly, however, this would cause extreme stress, fear, anxiety & depression in these highly sensitive, family-oriented marine mammals! I said, if they wish to "create" a dolphin/whale park for spectators & tourists to enjoy, they must create a serene, safe, peaceful & natural park setting, one that will attract these creatures, naturally, not forced!!

Wednesday August 22, 2012, 10:56 am
By the way, I forgot to say that by "being attracted to the proposed park, naturally", I mean that these creatures would be able to freely come & go as they pleased, & if you're lucky enough to see them, wonderful, otherwise, try again next time. That is true nature, if you have no patience, you'll never see it!
