Walmarts are like flies- they are everywhere - and can be Anywhere. Another part to the song is "you don't know what you've got til it's gone..".... we need the trees a heck of a lot more than we need another walmart.

It is gauling that the University was supposed to be a steward for this land and they up and sell it to Walmart. Their greed will cost us all the land that should have been preserved. Sure Walmart's are like ants, they are everywhere and walk over everything in its way, but I blame the University for brokering the sale of the land. Additionally, the University is not one individual, did the board think this would just slip by and no one would notice. Those responsible for the sale should be fired.

I apologize to ants and flies being compared to Walmart, all insects serve a purpose. Walmart however is more like $hit, it rolls down hill and sullies everyone and everything in its path, and even when you try to clean it up the stench is still there! N & gladly SIGNED! Eff off Walmart.

Walmart doesn't care. In my mom's town, they put their so-called "Smart-Centre" in the middle of a bird sanctuary. It took a couple of years, but unfortunately city hall finally approved them. I don't care what sort of accommodations they made, it's still in the middle of a bird sanctuary.

Signed. How much more of this world must be paved and/or built over before man's greed not to let a space that could be paved leaves the planet alone? It won't be long before the oceans are drained and paved/built by these greed mongers.

I don't believe that they should be putting aWalmart there of all places , those big box stores are getting out of hand!!!!!!!! They are killing the smaller stores, let alone everything else like the animals, birds, insects& the eco system. The wood they use is even special can you go figure that one©¶=°¥€€¥^°[]????
