A local man was being held on animal-cruelty charges Monday after police said he used a power drill to bore several holes in the head of a dog that had bitten his son. Bail for Saverino Cruz, 32, was set at $25,000 on charges of animal cruelty and

Unless laws and sentences are changed then this cruelty to animals will continue,and if i had my way i would do to these 2 mongrels what they did to the innocent dog,to torment and treat an animal cruelly should be mandatory 10 years in jail at least,if they give these sort of sentences then there would be less cruelty,until then it will continue,and unless politicians grow brains or have the guts to do what the people want then this crap will never cease.
