what about relocating them???? Mhm, nobody thinks of that. Shame to the Australian Government, they allowing this mass murder of our emblem. And killing kangaroos is even more difficult them killing horses!!

Anybody else think these people need a new line?
how many times have we heard the excuse, we gotta slaughter them or they'll starve to death? So sick of it all:(

Total agreement Kathy.....let nature take it's course. Whatever the outcome is how it was intended to be, not that defenseless animals be slaughtered by humans (using that term very lightly in their case).
Noted and signed petition, thanks Simone....

Thank you Simone for bringing this to my attention. We really should allow Nature to play Her part in things like this.At the end of the day,who knows the Earth and Her creatures than the Mother Herself. Why do we have to interfere and SLAUGHTER these animals in such numbers because it interferes with OUR way of running things.Mankind, really needs to be bought back down to earth and quickly because we are causing uneccessary suffering and pain to fit in with us.

I don't fully agree with the culling some thing has to be done,we are still in draught, would people rather see these animals to die of starvation, a small cull might be the only way to the future. In Tassie you see so many roos as road kill because the only grazing they have is on the side of the roads, there is nothing left in the paddocks and bush, sometimes you have to be cruel to be kind.

Noted and signed; thanks Simone! As for those who think that "culling" is a kind way to prevent starvation, I respectfully disagree. Mother Nature, as another pointed out here, knows much better. And as much as it may break one's heart to see animals starving, or as "road kill," perhaps if we weren't such a greed parasitic species, we wouldn't have to face these things. On the other hand, this is the Natural process . . . and less human interference would benefit all. (Not tracking)

This is so silly
Australia kills and eats 6 million kangaroos a year.
The USA euthanases about 20 million animals a year.
In Australia 400 kangaroos are being euthinased as they are in danger of being blown up by the military.

Get some perspective.

Get some sense of proportion.

If anyone really cared they would PAY for the animals to be moved, fed and housed.

Come on Paul the divorce didn't leave you that broke?!
