A landlocked polar bear, too close for comfort, forced a crew of five Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) scientists to evacuate a remote camp in northern Alaska. The scientists were studying the impacts of climate change on Arctic shorelines.

I would be nervous. They are hungry!!! Hunger makes animals a little more brave. He could have just watched them for awhile but eventually he may have gotten brave. I wish someone would drop food to them. Raid a fishing troller of dead seals and what ever they can get. If they live they may adjust but I have my doubts.
