For those with a meat- free diet, it can be difficult to approach this holiday to leave happy and well fed, especially when you are eating at someone else's house. Here are some tips on how to deal. 1. Be in charge of making at least one protein-rich

Thank you dear Simone! One thanksgiving was a real fiasco! Our youngest daughters father in law gave me a hard time about being a non meat eater and he and his wife found themselves at a hotel that night because our daughter and son in law were so upset! He has a tendency to be a bully! That was 4 years ago! They have only been back to New York once since that happened! I told him, you only have 1 set of parents, you will never have another! Hopefully we will see them in Calif this Christmas! Thank you for the food advice! I just thought I would throw in my story!!

After seeing Sarah Palin talking while turkeys were being butchered right behind her, I don't see how anyone would feel like eating turkey ever again. Ever see a baby drink it's first sip of Coke or Pepsi? They gag and choke, but later acquire a taste. Same with alcohol.

Meat is an acquired taste as well and can be unlearned for a healthier diet. It's a choice.

I have not eaten turkey in all my life, and I never will.
That's for sure!
