They say they will not kill them, but only remove them. Last time they removed them to go horse sales for slaughter. They are a bloody sneaky lot, that have in the past massacred and slaughtered many brumbies without the public's knowledge.

What is man without the beast?
If all the beasts were gone, men would die from great loneliness of spirit, for whatever happens to the beasts also happens to man. All things are connected.
Whatever befalls the earth befalls the children of the earth.

This is the same dirty underhanded methods the US Bureau of Land Management has been getting away with for decades. Scoundrels.

Yeah, "remove" sounds fine. But the question is - "removed" from what? It could possibly mean removed from this world !!!
These fine people likely have some horrible hidden agenda and we'd be wise not to trust them one bit !!!

Removed to where? I remember reading about the Snowy Brunbies when I was a little girl. They should be protected not "removed".

The Snowy Brumbies are beautiful people...So are the Aboriginals who inhabited Australia long before the 'Brumbies' did, and had their children 'removed', never to see their parents again...Who cares about them...I do!...Do you?

I do not trust this.

Removed to where - removed from a habitat that is their not ours - and so many horses end up slaughtered in Australia for overseas meat consumption.

I was so happy to see your post; as an animal activist, all wins are good! Then I saw the posted comments...OH NO...not another lying BLM!! I'm hoping Mr. Obama puts an end to them! This does make me sad. They should be prosecuted for lying to the public, after all, we pay their salary. I'm hoping for the best and fearing the worst...thanks, Simone.

Mankind always use nice words to cover up the dirty truth...
We should all mail the newspaper to demand answers about the HOWS and WHERE these horses are being moved.
I learned when somebody is telling you about the story A, then they have the obligation to tell you also about the story B, and this important matter needs more then only "the horses have been moved...???"
Yeah...sure into slaughter houses...
Thanks Simone
