Today I would not want to be the the Fuhrer of the Totalitarian Corporate Plutocracy of Fitzwalkerstan, formerly Wisconsin. As Scott Walker was in New York sucking up to a known corporate criminal, the heroic oppressed people turned on over one million signatures guaranteeing a recall election to oust Walker and other Republican tyrants this summer.

It may be beyond legal challange, but Walker will still try to shoot out its legs and make it crawl to the finish line.
Screw him. Even the tortoise wins the race sometimes :-))

Wahey! A million signatures on the petition against Walker (and that started before he had been a year in office!) and 850,000 against the Lt Governor! Wonderful - now the Democrats need to really organise a good candidate to run against Walkers hundreds of millions. Democrats must get out and vote!

Congratulations to the citizens of Wisconsin, formerly known as Fitzwalkerstan, for collecting 1.9 million signatyres for the recall of Republican/Teabagger Governor Scott Walker, the Republican/Teabagger Lt Governor Rebecca Kleefisch, and 4 Republican/Teabagger state senators including the Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald. WOW!!!!!

This is monumental with so many people going down at once. Let this be a lesson to other Republican/Teabagger state governments that change is possible, even when you arrogantly think you are invinsible. Let this also be a lesson to voters. When you screw up like so many did when they put Republican/Teabaggers into office in 2010, with hardwork, organisation and dedication, it is possible to change things.

And while all these signatures were being walked into the Government Accountability Office, where was Scott Walker? In New York at a fund raiser hosted by the former AIG boss and corporate criminal, Maurice Greenberg. Was he worried? Didn't appear to give a rat's ass about the work of the state or the people of Wisconsin, formerly known as Fitzwalkerstan, only his upcoming campaign to take back the Governor's chair. What did he say? ". . . a chance to be elected twice in one term. . . ." May Scott Walker and his minions be consigned to the annals of history never to be seen or heard of again!

Walker and the others think that the Koch money will keep them safe.

Even if half the signatures are not good, that's one heck of a sentiment.

Look at the faces of the people carrying the petitions--they're EMPOWERED. They're proof that the system CAN work...if people are willing to use it.

ON, WISCONSIN!

Glad to see that the people in Wisconsin are doing something for their state.

There are other states that need help. Michigan, Indiana, Ohio and other states...

Ty, Tom.

kudos to the neighboring state!!!! of course, we in MN would say we got our last election correct......but the fight goes on daily vs the greedy corporate polluting poisoning repugs.....

The people of Wisconsin really came together and got the job done! Congratulations, Wisconsonites! I'm sure he won't be unemployed long --although it would be nice if he had to apply for unemployment checks and food stamps. He may not have been loyal to the vast majority of his constituency, but he was a loyal servant to the Koch brothers, so I'm sure they already have a job for him as a full-time member of the their goon squad.

@ Jesse Dijkstra --- "wish we could do the same in Michigan with A**hole Snyder!"
You can! Iis being done in Wisconsin, it can be done in Michigan too! Don't talk about it, make it so! Talk to the Democratic leadership in your state. God knows, with Snyder's emergency manager programme, he has abrogated the rights of Michigan residents to elect their own local officials. He is installing his chosen 'fair haired' minions to take their place and do his will. He seems to be the man that would be king! But guess what, kings can be defated where there is a way and willing people ready to make a change. If you're not part of the solution, then you are part of the problem.

Let's hope they all show up to vote. It would be nice if, like other "bad witches," like for example the White Witch of Narnia, all of the bad laws & policies he put into place, would disappear the instant he is vanquished. Oh yeah... this is America, not Utopia.
