While researching at Crooks and Liars this morning, I came across a reference to this website and checked it out. I found a reference resource so valuable that I have to share it with you. These folks are so good at debunking the myths that define the Republican Party, that they must have several researchers with a PhD in Republican Bullshitology.

You know that the right wing is going to tell us that this are lies made up by the left, to show the GOP, Fox News and others in a bad light. I know like you we do not have to do that, as they are doing a great job without us helping.

A good example of republican tactics was shown on this past Sunday's episode of "The Good Wife" Lie,Lie,Lie and then make your opposition think they're crazy for not remembering the events that never happened.

Thanks so much for the link. Now in favorites!
The Nazi Party also had the same mantra as the Republican Party. Goering and Gobbles would be so proud.

Interesting site. Today Pat Robertson was apparently opining on global warming and trying, very weakly, to make a comparison with Mars. His question: How many SUV's on Mars? LMAO! He really said that! What an old idiot! I wonder if Alzheimer's runs in his family?

After reviewing the right-wing myths and the evidence and arguments to counter them, I wasn't surprised to see that FOX News was the "delivery system" of choice for this Republican nonsense. They steal the credit for what works and cast blame on the Obama administration for what doesn't work --and people actually believe them!

I did learn that John Boehner is an even bigger ass than I thought he was. His supportive remarks to the 1% and condescending attitude toward the rest of us makes me wonder how he has managed to get enough votes to stay in office! WHY in the world would anyone who falls into the 99% category vote for this lapdog with overactive tear glands? According to Wikipedia, Agent Orange has 11 siblings, and "all but two of his siblings still live within a few miles of each other; two are unemployed and most of the others have blue-collar jobs.[8]" If you're willing to screw your own family to protect your wealthy benefactors, why would you let anyone else stand in your way?

Thanks, Tom, for providing this terrific resource!

Thanks for this Tom. Faux Noise and the Bagger Party are two of the worst organizations around. One lies 24/7 and other one protests against their own interests. Are their sheeple so dumbed down they don't realize how they are being used?

Edwin, that technique is known as "Gaslighting", after the 1940's film "Gaslight", starring Ingrid Bergman and Charles Boyer. In the 1890's, in a spooky old house, the husband tries to convince his wife she's crazy so he can put her away and grab all her inheritance. In this the husband has the collaboration of the housekeeper, played by Angela Lansbury in her film debut, who supports all his lies -- so it's two-against-one, and Ingrid Bergman's character is completely isolated. {Like Repukelican politicians and Rupert Murdoch Faux media support each other!} "Gaslighting" is a good verb and I have seen it used often recently!
