I bet most of you remember that during a 2008 campaign rally for John McCain, a woman who had fallen for one of the standard GOP lies, called Obama an Arab. McCain, who had so many character defects that I nicknamed him McConJob, at least had the integrity and character to stand up against the hate speech. On the other hand, in similar incidents during events featuring Sarah Palin, aka Drill Baby Dingbat, she catered to the hate-speakers. Mitt Romney has demonstrated that he is a Palin, not a McCain.

Oh my stars! He's the male half & palin is the female half of the same beastly devil! I fear for our future if any of these monsters get into positions of more power than they already have! Thanks for posting!

Romney cares more about winning than about being a good leader......I've heard several people on progressive radio call in about how Mr. Obama is destroying The Constitution, but never seem to hear any specifics....can someone explain????? I seem to remember that it was pre-2009 that we had torture, wire tapping, holding prisoners without rights, etc.....again Mr. Obama has not been as open and progressive and corrected all these errors, but better than Mr. Romney will ever be.....

Mitt, Mitt, with the glassy dead stare,
for the middle class he does not care,
Rather than tax the rich,
he'd rather throw the country in the ditch.
Voting him in would be a nightmare!!!!

Today he was taking credit for saving General Motors because he wrote an editorial in 2008 suggesting that they be allowed to go bankrupt. It would be comical if the possibility of his becoming Commander In Chief did not exist.

Yep. Mr. Etch a Sketch will encourage hate. He has so little to say and what he says is all lies.

Hate Speech?
I don't know about treason (this could be argued) but Just as President Bush and many before him, President Obama should be IMPEACHED!

Romney is an ass and shows it every time he speaks. If those too dumbed down to realize what he is all about vote him into office I think they'll be the first to whine and wonder what happened.

I'm told it's a mind det thing but I find it so ironic, and funny in a weird way, that the Democrat attacks this year are those used by the republicans four years ago and vice-versa!

Interesting parallel of concern in how much trust the public and world leaders and diplomats could bestow Romney should he be elected...scary

Romney is completely detached from reality, and isn't even trying to actually stand for something, because he has a sense that he is entitled to win this election because he is, after all, Romney. I guess he is in for an awakening. Then again, narcissists like him will never awaken. Under the surface of the delusions he lives in, he is a child who has no clue about anything, and stands for nothing except "the good life" that he inherited from his family.

Hey, HE WAS ARRESTED in 1981!!! If Obama was ever arrested, they would hang him. This idiot gets arrested, puts his dog on top of the car for a lengthy car ride where the poor dog poops all over the car and himself (happy dogs just don't do that) and this fool wants to rule the world? Sound bite me, please.

Thanks to most except to those who tried to duck the issue by projecting it onto Democrats.

Kudos to Robert! Hilarious!

An excellent piece by Ed. I couldn’t agree with him more. Rmoney has dropped the ball more times than I can remember — one example was in South Carolina when he was asked a question and he came off the rails, and if I remember correctly, Nicky Haley had to steer him away before he made things worse. He twists facts to make his own version of history; he flip-flops on important issues; and he lies. He hires, based on credentials, an openly gay staffer and then caves to the fanatical right to fire the fellow, who also worked for Baby Bush if I recall. If he is going to cave like that, what will he do when challenged by the government of another nation? He’ll either cave or he’ll take up the war cry “Bomb, baby bomb!”, but he won’t negotiate. He accused Mr Obama, as many of the GOP did, of taking credit for the killing of Osama bin Laden, but then he has the audacity to claim that he was responsible for the turnaround of the automotive industry. Rmoney has no idea what it will take to be president and is totally unprepared. Maybe he figures it doesn’t matter much, after all the de facto presidents will be the Koch Brothers and other billionaires.

Mittens is devoid of character and charisma.
things money cannot buy.
Obama has charisma pouring out of his eyes.
For me, especially as a female, there is no contest
Thanks tomcat

... a supporter stood and declared that President Barack Obama should be "tried for treason."

The comment came during a town hall meeting in Cleveland. Taking the microphone, a woman told Romney that Obama had been "operating outside the structure of our Constitution." Pausing after her question, she remarked to another member of the audience, "I agree, he should be tried for treason."

Turning back to Romney, she asked what he would do to "restore balance" between the three branches of government and "restore our Constitution." She did not specify why she believed Obama should be "tried for treason"—a comment that received a huge applause from the audience. And when it was his turn to respond, Romney ignored her suggestion about "treason" and instead spoke about how he would "respect the different branches of government."…

By ignoring her hate speech, Romney gave it credence.

There is NOTHING too low for RMoney to stoop to. NOTHING.
Whaddya bet we see even WORSE from RMoney before this farce of a "campaign" financed by the Koch Brothers, is over?????
Makes ya PUKE??????
