CNN has always tilted a bit to the right. After all they are a giant corporation with their own corporate agenda, and most of their revenue comes from advertising by other corporations like Big Insurance, Big Oil and Banksters. Lately, however, CNN seems to have shifted so far right that I often forget I’m not watching Faux Noise, the Republican Ministry of Propaganda.

All I can say is that they have gone down hill since they dropped AP news.

I've noticed over the years that CNN has evolved into "Newstainment". Their journalistic integrity has been seriously compromised. If CNN keeps this up it will sink down to the cesspool depths of Faux News. I wonder what is so difficult about reporting factual and accurate news.

II can't stand the self-righteous, self-absorbed (pseudo-newsperson) commentators on CNN or FOX. Their willingness to comment incessantly without sufficient information is appalling. All of the Major networks are corporate mouthpieces, selling the corporate message. When not doing that, they just throw programming at you that is intended to distract from anything that might actually be important.

West is a STAR in the republican party? Geesh, these guys just keep sliding down hill. Nothing new with Wolf Blitzer, he's always been a shill. He just reads the cards no independent thinking happening there.

What is or should be on the ballot is how one party dares to step-up and block all legislation in the hope to undermine one president, with no regard for how their behavior is hurting the whole country.

I majored in Journalism in college.TV journalism actually. Had the misfortune of working with wolf blitzer,what an asshat, and even worse geraldo words.
don't watch tv news anymore, the daily show is about it.
suffice to say I'm not practicing in my field of choice, and wolf started out at abc as a sportscaster,btw
and he wasn't all that good at that. How he got to where he is ,is a huge mystery. People really like stupid.
they watched palin after all.

noted, don't watch TV when at home, but was forced to watch while waiting at an airport and agree it was amazing how "unbiased" CNN was trying to much that they seemed more and more like Faux than i ever remember.

Always felt that CNN was similiar to faux news but CNN hid their agenda better than faux news.

Faux news just came reports outright lies tilting to the right, extreme right.

Remember folks: Help Republican politicians collect Unemployment! Oh right, g o p do not believe

CNN is not neutral, it is pro-republican agenda. If it was a true news source, we would hear news that is real news, not processed crap to subtly sway opinion, and gossip. I like the new HBO series Newsroom, you guys will like it too

I agree with you, Tom, and with most of the commenters. It's not just CNN's slant on the news --it's the talent and ability of its newscasters that's lacking as well. It's just not worth watching.

Allen West's behavior reminds me of Clarence Thomas' behavior. It's unfortunate because both of these men are in a position to be positive role models, yet they fail to seize the opportunity. They could have been heroes but chose to be zeroes.

Priebus, chairman of the RNC on Allen West — "…one of the most dynamic new Republican stars; he has a bright future; important member of Congress and I'm not going to throw him under the bus…" This for a man that claims:

1) there are more than 70 communists in the House Democratic Party; (4/2012 "…referring to the 76 members of the Congressional Progressive Caucus. The Communist Party has publicly referred to the Progressive Caucus as its allies. The Progressive Caucus speaks for itself. These individuals certainly aren’t proponents of free markets or individual economic freedom.” according to West)

2) In talking about Mr Obama, he said recently he'd "rather having you be his slave" which is so disrespectful;

3) And if I recall correctly, West back in July 2011 got himself into deep doo-doo for his sexist outbursts in Congress "…condemning fellow Florida Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz for her “attack” on him on the House floor, calling her “vile,” “unprofessional” and “not a lady,” there isn’t a peep to be heard from the party." — I listened to her 'attack' and his name isn't even mentioned although there is a reference to a South Florida representative but it is certainly no attack.

CNN's Wolf Blitzer, although he says he laments the lack of civility in general, does nothing of what I would think an investigative reporter or interviewer should be doing. Priebus was evading all sorts of things and Blitzer was just lying down. He let's the lies and misinformation go unchallenged.

If this is CNN, yes they are a poor cousin to Faux Noise. I say a 'poor cousin' because at least you know with Faux Noise that they are manipulating and lying. CNN is still trying to pretend they are respectable.

Makes me wonder how anyone can call this news!

This is obviously A STINKING, DISGUSTING AD!
Please when you see such STINKING, DISGUSTING ADS, please click on "flag as inappropriate". It only takes a moment of your time!
Then a Care2 staff member should take care of it.
You might also go to the Profile and click on "flag as inappropriate" in the lower right-hand corner;
except USUALLY, as in this case, THERE IS NO PROFILE. These are of course not "real' Care2 members.
We need to try to keep Care2 from being INFESTED with these useless, freeloader ADS!

What's most disturbing about CNN is that it is the station on air in public waiting areas at airports, bus stations, hotel lobbies, etc. We are bombarded with it.

Thanks to all, Kudos to most.

MSNBC does have left leaning shows, but the news reporting segments are the most unbiased on cable news. They also have a very long right wing show.
