Puzzle — 4:41 2nd so far but I'm sure that Patty will come in and knock me back.

MoveOn — Well done! Should be required viewing for everyone.

The Nation — "That shows Senate Democrats are more ethical than House Republicans. " — . . .and this is news? Want to bet that Senate Republican/Teabaggers will find a way to crash the party!

Scott Brown — "Brown said it’s “outrageous to use taxpayer dollars” for this.
He says the move is an effort to give Democrats an advantage, including opponent Elizabeth Warren."
I think he is feeling the heat! Being a welfare recipient has nothing to do with one's rights. This is a group that is least likely to have politicians (especially Republican/Teabaggers) talking to them, yet they too pay taxes.

Cartoon — As I recall from my history lessons, Hitler was not too happy with Jesse Owens' win. How interesting that 2nd and 3rd places were taken up by Japan and Germany, part of the eventual axis of WWII. And nine years later would be the dropping of the 2nd atomic bomb, Fat Man, over Nagasaki, Japan, just 3 days after the dropping of Little Man over Hiroshima. Germany has already surrendered.

I was 8, but remember the day well that "Tricky Dick" resigned.....also remember driving by his San Clemente home as youth on way to San Diego..........Jesse Owens still an under-appreciated athlete --- doing what he did, where and when he did it, incredibly impressive and more important than any wins/records at almost every Olympics ever since.....

Love the Move On video, I also wear the liberal badge with honor, Liberal, Characterized by generosity or lavishness in giving, inclining toward opinions or policies that favor progress or reform, What can be wrong with that.
