I remember that Pat Robertson once ‘prophesied’ that God would smite Orlando with a hurricane, because Disney World ended hiring discrimination against LGBT people. The next hurricane to make landfall damaged Robertson’s HQ in Virginia beach. You have to hand it to God. She has a wonderful sense of humor. It taught Robertson nothing. This is how Robertson’s Republican Supply-side pseudo-Christians, who have absolutely nothing in common with authentic Christians, see our right to freedom of speech. We should shut up.

I often wish there was a "loving god" and heaven and hell complete with a judgment day. I am not looking for an eternity, however, if there were... I would LOVE a ringside seat where I could watch the faces of these hateful horrors as THEY are sent SOUTH for their FINAL RETIREMENT.

Why is this person not in a nursing home? He is obviously suffering from dementia and is living in his own mind (self-delusional, self-aggrandisement). He speaks for delusional is that?

His hate of everything and everyone that is NOT his form of 'Christian' (which is pretty much everyone who is not a Teabagging GOPer) is gonna bring him nothing but a whole lotta bad Karma. He'll be back....many times.

All I can hope for is he comes back as the very things/people he so gays, lesbians, vagina's, sex, donkeys having sex....whatever.....I just hope it is something he just cannot abide and is forced to be that thing or that animal or that person for the duration of that lifetime. Karmic Justice.......gotta love it.

Yeah, I changed my comment up considerbly to pass under the radar of the Care2 speech police. (I really loathe self-censorship but hey, gotta keep from offending anyone's sensabilities or lack of humor genes). :)

If there is a hell, I hope Pat Robertson goes there and is perpetually beaten by 700 clubs for all eternity.

Poor old Pat Robertson, he meant to say...."being a good Christian and wanting follow the lead of Jesus, I openly embrace all of humanity." It came out as, “I defy these homosexuals to bring forth a baby from that part of the anatomy which they concentrate on..." Well the guy is old and probably has not been laid in a while so he is just trying to remember what it's all about. He got confused when some one said Chick-fil A, and thought they said some thing about chicks getting laid. (that's an anatomy pun - just think about it)

Kit, One of the best things about your comment is that you have "Pat Robertson" only a few words away from "came out". ;)

Also, I have a feeling that he wouldn't mind the "Chick-on-Chick-Fil-A" nearly as much as he'd be disturbed by a hot piece of cock meat between two warm buns.

For that matter, I'm sure Dan Cathy would also squirm uneasily at the above description that could be accurately applied to his company's products.

Oh that silly idiot Pat Robertson is suffering from stupidity, He should just keep his big mouth shut.

The last person I take advice from is a pompous holier than thou ignoramus that is more interested in regression than progression.

According to funnymentalists like Robertson, God created everyone, Herterosexuals, Homosexuals, Bi-sexuals. But only the funnymentalists seem to know which God loves the most. God gave us speech, yet the funnymentalists seem to think only they have a right free speech and no one else. They seem as screwed up as the Taliban.

Pat Robertson said: “I defy these homosexuals to bring forth a baby from that part of the anatomy which they concentrate on."

Stranger things have happened. Let's face it, Pat is able to SPEAK from that part of his own anatomy! He'd be doing himself and everyone else a favor if he just stopped sharing his opinions because they're irrational and serve no purpose other than to fuel the hatred of the religious right.

“I defy these homosexuals to bring forth a baby from that part of the anatomy which they concentrate on, when that happens I will change everything I’m saying; until that happens, I wish those demonstrators would shut their mouth.”

It is a good thing that the constitution protects the free speech of the demonstrators. Unfortunately, it also protects Robertson's. He is so filled with hate, and that is NOT the Christianity I practice.

About 10 months ago, I posted a story on Care2 about Robertson's view of OWS —
Pat Robertson: Christians Should Not Join 'Occupy Wall Street'

In that story, Pat Robertson is calling on Christians to not be involved in OWS because he says it is a rebellion of anger. As he says "Nobody knows exactly what it is, they don’t know what they’re doing, why are they there? Well they’re just mad. Well, is it right for a Christian to get involved in a protest of anger?” And guess what, the demonstrators against Chick-Fil-A are angry too at the bigotry, the discrimination, the outright hate spewed forth by people like Cathy and Robertson towards the LGBT community.

As a Christian, I say horsepuckey! Christian doctrine calls on us to support the weak, the disenfranchised. It calls on us to love our neighbour (homeless, Muslim, Black, gay, immigrant, Jewish, Christian, atheist, disabled, addicted) and to seek justice for all creation. IMO, supporting and/or being active in OWS and protesting Chick-Fil-A is just what Christians are called to do. Christians are called to be active but not violent. Are they angry? Yes, angry at the inequality, the injustice, the discrimination, the bigotry that they see all around them. While the 1%, of which Robertson is a part by definition, sip coffee or drinks in their well appointed clubs, the poor and middle class are being decimated by injustice, unaffordable healthcare, unemployment, loss of pension or the threat of loss of social security, the loss of inclusion in society, the loss of dignity and respect.

You don't have to be Christian to be Christ like. To the non Christians in the protests, I say 'Thank you for being Christ like." To the Christians in the protests I say "Thank you for being Christ like." To the Christians not involved in the protest or who scorn it, it is time to find Christ because he is at the protest and will one day clear the temple again. To be sure, when Christ comes to clear the temple again, people like Robertson, Cathy and others with their false piety will be thrown out of the temple.

Pat Robertson and his minions have caused so much emotional pain and instigated untold physical abuse to our LGBT youth. The man is a monster!

"Yesterday on the 700 Club, Pat Robertson said that activists who don’t want Chick-fil-A on their college campus due to the company’s anti-gay advocacy should keep quiet: “I defy these homosexuals to bring forth a baby from that part of the anatomy which they concentrate on, when that happens I will change everything I’m saying; until that happens, I wish those demonstrators would shut their mouth.” Robertson warned that legal abortion and homosexuality are violations of God’s law and are “the reasons why land will vomit out its inhabitants.”…
Geez, Pat Robertson, THANKS FOR THE PUBLICITY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What Robertson is here referring to, is:

1] Nearly ALL Colleges, Universities, and even some High Schools! {except for Christian-affiliated ones}, have "out" LGBT students, and OFTEN, Gay-Straight Alliance groups or similar student groups.
2] Chick-fil-A, thru its non-profit arm, contributes MILLIONS OF ITS DOLLARS IN PROFIT$$$$$ TO HATE GROUPS; GROUPS THAT ACTUALLY PROMOTE VIOLENCE AGAINST GAY PEOPLE. {For more on this, you can go to the Website of the Southern Poverty Law Center, the SPLC, which does a great job of tracking Hate Groups.}
The Students, naturally, including today's savvy High School Students, KNOW this about CfA.
It is NOT a "freedom of speech" or "right to one's own opinion' issue AT ALL; it is that buying a chicken sandwich from CfA, DIRECTLY PUTS MONEY IN THE POCKET OF HATE GROUPS.

Now, what YOU can do, what WE COLLECTIVELY can do {what I have done and continue to do}:

Go to; then go to Gay Rights; then to Recent {or to Popular}.
You will find upwards of 60! Petitions there -- to get CfA out of College and High School Campuses and Cafeterias; also out of Sports Arenas and Sports Events, Shopping Malls, etc.
Sick-fil-A is trying to EXPAND into new places for its franchises -- good luck with THAT! GREAT TIMING!!!

In spite of just ONE day of doing fantastic business, Sick-fil-A and other businesses that support bigots, ARE HURTING! THIS IS NOT GOOD FOR BUSINESS!!! CfA is going DOWN!

Poor old Pat....can you IMAGINE the slew of sinful thoughts swirling in his brain like frenzied worms?

I'm not one to wish evil and pain on many people....but this man deserves a good case of TOURETTE'S syndrome!
