Puzzle 4:05 That's no yacht! That's a dinghy with sails! No wonder I sank! I did try to refloat the dinghy and came in at 3:39!

MoveOn I like the direction Teddy was moving, but unlimited personal donations still allow the likes of the Kochs, Adelson, Rmoney and more to buy elections. I favour a limit on personal donations with full disclosure, and like you (is this a surprise?) I favour public financing. Corporations are not people and money is not speech!

The Colbert Report Hilarious! I was able to get it on The Comedy Network here in Canada. Love Colbert's definition of "elegantly" although he can keep the shrimp (allergies)!

The New Yorker Andy Borowitz's piece is funny and so appropriate. Have to say that I also liked the titles of two other Borowitz pieces. The man is sarcastically funny!
Obama Gets Foreign-Policy Scolding from Man Who Almost Started War with Britain
Poll: Romney Still Doing Well With Voters Who Have Never Heard Him Speak

Cartoon From Wikipedia: "Washington's 'Farewell Address' was an influential primer on republican virtue and a warning against partisanship, sectionalism, and involvement in foreign wars."

I guess Republicans didn't get the memo! Too bad. And I guess they didn't hear about the cherry tree either!

Get out the vote!!!!!

Vote Democratic 2012!!!!! Vote Obama/Biden 2012!!!!!

Thanks Tom, How dare the 47% think that they deserve food or a place to live, Shame on us.

I hope you are right and this will motivate the 47% to support Obama. Since my husband and I are both retired, living on SS and our retirement pensions, that makes us moochers. However, our tax rate is higher than Romney's.

Couldn't view the wonderful video from here - so looked up Colbert and tried to find it, but instead found a video of President Obama being interviewed on David Letterman yesterday - rather good.

Why in the name of Heaven didn't Teddy Rooseveldt pass that law?????!!!!!

TC, LMAO and had to watch it twice. I surely wish Colbert was available on TV here. Know what network carries his show? He even looks a bit like Romney. Very well done.

Thanks all. Glad you liked the video

Bee, I find that the views from people in other countries to be enlightening, as they ad an outside perspective.

For those that don't have tV access to the Colbert Report, you might be able to pick it up at www.comedynetwork.ca

That is in Canada and where I have to view it. I believe a New York resident viewed a Jon Stewart clip there as I also do.
