Paul Ryan, junior plutocrat to Lord Willard, and Ayn Rand devotee, journeyed to New Orleans to the annual AARP conference in order to convince grandma to vote against her own interest. In that attempt he trotted out many of the Republican Partyís favorite lies about Medicare and Obamacare. Much to his dismay, Grandma didnít want any part of his spiel.

This is soooo funny! The tide is turning away from the evil twins with seniors! I loved that the booed him! He is going to drag his mother out again - like she has to worry about health care! What a tool!

good for her.Sometimes it takes the people who know the most about you to have found out how badly you are lying.

According to paulie he sort of expected the response he received but I don't believe him and his track record on telling the truth isn't very good.

...looks like the seniors decided to unplug him before he has the chance to unplug grand-ma's/grand-dads in every state as a way of solving their health problems. Good for them !
Ryan, ya just should of known better than try and 'F' over seniors with you deer skin corporate wallet full of lies for their profits....He's lucky he left his huntingbow at home or he might have left there with it needing to be removed from his...you know what.

And Rmoney says he has loads of seniors on his side? They must be the 1% seniors because the AARP certainly wasn't buying any of the Rmoney/Ryan bear scat!

Seniors are listening but not buying! As usual, Bernie is spot on and makes so much sense.

I also found it interesting that Ryan, ever living up to his nickname of Lyin' Ryan, continued to maintain that Mr Obama has not lived up to his promise to work with Republicans. As he said, Mr Obama has not stepped one step closer to Republicans. Well there you go, reinforcement of the Republican motto 'Our way or the highway!'

Get out the vote!!!!!

Vote Democratic 2012!!!!! Vote Obama/Biden 2012!!!!!

Looks like we have another troll on here. Ryan amazes me with his continual lies, and he looks so sincere when he does it.

Yet another Grandma for Obama. Ryan's plans for America are to eliminate any ability for hard working people to make a better life for themselves. He supports only the already powerful.

LOVED the reactions of the senior citizens to Paul Ryan's lies! The only thing I would have liked better than all the booing would have been to see a large hook pull him away from the podium and off the stage!

Edith, the "troll" sounds like some middle-schoolers having some fun (and maybe one or two of their daddy's cold ones).

'Ryan says he is trying to save Medicare' - rather as a mugger is trying to save your wallet or a vampire is trying to save your blood supply! Watching Ryan I could almost see the horns as he lied, lied and lied again!

God bless Senator Bernie Sanders for ever - he is wonderful - and I do hope he has a strong successor planned for the sad day when he retires - Vermont deserves another like him!

Romney and Ryan should be ashamed of themselves for even thinking about putting a voucher program on Medicare! This is not a program to be messed with and they keep calling these entitlements, like that is a nasty word. We pay in for this and seniors are venerable and wrong to tamper with this program. It would be a disaster if Romney was elected as they have already proven they don't care for the 47% of our society! What arrogant pompous asses. How about make some cuts to the big corporations and bankers and leave the seniors and vulnerable people in our society alone. They are having a difficult time as it is.

Ever think of how unfair and stupid it is to allow early voting? If we all voted on one day, less absentee ballots for the ill and those serving overseas, we would have a more honest election. As it now stands it becomes a personality contest.

Too bad the troll isn't informed - most all of his lies have already been refuted several times over.

As for little Eddie Munster - booing is actually very kind for him, methinks.

Poor Ryan, kept that smile going even after all the booing. Of course he was hoping there was one uninformed grandma or grandpa in the room, he was wrong! We know the vouchers won't be for us but we do know they are meant for future generations, our kids, grandkids, etc. and we also know his voucher program is just more $$ for insurance corps who will continue to fund his political ambitions.
As for the troll.....wow, what a mouth piece of utter stupidity.

Ryan's nose is big enough already. Imagine what he will look like by the election as it continues to grow like Pinocchio's.

Looks like we have a troll who created his ID yesterday. I wonder if he's one of the ones on the Republican payroll.

John, what is your basis for saying that making people leave their jobs and be docked pay to vote is more fair than early voting?

Thanks to everyone else.

@ Albert Walker, I do not think that I like you very much. What are you doing on this site, other than stirring up shit with your Republican lies?

Albert, you have the right to support the right wing agenda, but it is not necessary to insult people all over this USA with your comment you placed on here. Just because other Americans do not agree with the right wing position does not mean they take drugs or smoke dope as you say. And having two Parties in this Country with other 3rd Parties in the wings is Patriotic.....so because they do not agree with the Party of your choice does not make them UnPatriotic. Would you perfer one Party and it being a Dictatorship? How Patriotic would that be...not very.

I have flagged both your comments, I will not even give dignity to the rest of what you wrote. If you want to come on to Care2 and act like a respectable human being and engage in respectable debate that is one thing, but to come on and take cheap pop shots at your fellow citizens of this Nation, some of whom are serving in combat zones at this minute, some of whom have come back with missing legs so you could still have freedom of speech and some who even died for your right to come onto Care2. But you need not insult them and you should be ashamed of yourself.

If you are representing the Republican Party you have done a piss poor job of doing so and anyone with any type of intellect and respect would run away from the likes of you and the Party you represent if everyone in the right wing acted like you have on here. I have more faith in the American people that I believe you are a minority and I would think on a public thread, in mixed company, and with an International audiance, you would want to do a better job at representing yourself, your Party, and your Country.
