As polls make Obama’s advantage more clear each day, Republicans leaders are desperate for a way to make people believe that it just isn’t so. To achieve that end, they have concocted an idiotic conspiracy theory that the poll results are “voter suppression” by Democrats in cahoots with the media. Before going into this in more detail and explaining why it could not possibly be true, here is an explanation from the intellectual cream of the Republican Party.

I'm hearing more and more of Republicans who will vote for Obama, or Republicans who have turned Independent or Democrat who will vote for Obama, so the polls are skewed because they're so bat sh*t crazy that 'their own' are turning against them. Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch :)

I just read that Bain capital in a twisted way owns many voting machines. Will be getting the election stolen again? ??????

Desperate times call for desperate hallucinations.
Please refrain from putting photos of that Rove thing online, it makes me sick.

I would to agree with Sue, the image of that creep does bring on nausea, didn't we see enough of him for the past 12 years? Yuck.

When the polls predicted a lead for Romney no one was crying crocodile tears, now that the polls show a strong lead for Obama, suddenly it's all foul? Ummm, republicans are their own worst enemy.

Constantly lying, and revising history has made the Repugs unable to see any truth, even when the numbers don't lie.

Republicans live in their own world where they are master. Nothing else matters. Trouble for them is, nobody wants to live there with them! They are their own worst enemy. They don't need any help in the "screwing up department" from Democrats!

Thanks Tom for the post and video clip of "Teeny Weeny" Limbaugh contributing to Global Warming by blowing more hot air. The only thing skewed is the GOP reaction. Read and noted.

Arghh TC! - I was watching Limbaugh before I knew it - the nausea tipped me off though and I stopped the tape. Bless you dear TomCat for watching these things for us! I do hope and pray that Tasunka's info isn't true - though I fear it is! What the founding fathers would have made of these shenanigans I just don't know!

Don't Karl Rove and Limbaugh look like brothers? Ughhhhh. One thing is certain, they stink of desperation.

It's left wing biased meda. Ovver 70% of Americans are now saying they don't believe what they hear and read in the news.

Smart Americans....

For a while, the line the trolls were trying to feed us, was, "I am an Independent, but now I am voting for Romney", or, "I voted for Obama in the last election, but now I am voting for Romney because.....etc."
This line of Scheiss did NOT go over with us very well, as we could EASILY answer, FACTUALLY, that we knew of tons of former Republicans who were now voting for Obama! So the trolls stopped using that line.

{Which of course they were using all over the Internet, not just on Care2! They all get their same Talking Points from the RNC, the Republican National Committee, which is of course why they all sound alike -- and don't have an original thought in their heads! Their paymasters, the Koch brothers, wouldn't have it any other way!}

Well, the trolls twist and turn, this way and that way.... Lately, they have even tried to post their non-News articles as "News Items". They are increasing their endeavors between now and the elections -- the Rethugs want a CLOSE VOTE so they can with "plausible deniability", shift our Dem votes over to the Repuke side -- if there is a LANDSLIDE VOTE FOR OBAMA, AND FOR ALL DEMS -- like there was for President Obama in 2008 -- that will be MORE DIFFICULT TO GET AWAY WITH.

The trolls are hoping to at least DAMPEN THE ENTHUSIASM FOR PRESIDENT OBAMA -- which will give Mitt the Twit relatively more votes, if Dems stay home -- Rmoney would still lose, but if he loses by LESS MARGIN, that could be DANGEROUS....

Any election hanky-panky MUST BE CHALLENGED IMMEDIATELY -- we must NOT take it lying down as before.... that is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS.

I FULLY BELIEVE a {Goddess forbid!} "President" Romney WOULD TAKE US DIRECTLY INTO NUCLEAR WAR WITH IRAN -- which has NUCLEAR ALLIES....

@ Elle B --- so-called True the Vote [should be Skew the Vote].

Shouldn't that be "screw the vote"?

Diane, most of that 70% were probably talking about Fox News, Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh and the like who rarely bother distinguishing between editorial opinion pieces and factual news items.

CNN now has Romney and Obama tied...looks like Obama's "bounce" has his feet on the ground now.

JLA, that would be your personal opinion. But that's okay. That's why we are here. The majority of Americans, both democrats and republicans don't believe what they read in the biased left wing media.

JLA, probably not. Fox News still has the highest viewer rating of all the cable networks. I know that upsets the liberals but I can't make these things up.
