It's probably very easy to sleep at night when you convince yourself that you are living the American Dream, and those who are not are just lazy moochers. That would be at least 47% of all of us.

The Romney Score card:

Being born to wealth (check)

Having the best education and neighborhood money can buy (check)

Mingling with those who can and will advance your private and political aspirations (check)

No conscience or ability to relate to those not in above tiny category (check)

Ty Tom. The Romney's et al have been with us for a very long time. . .the sad part is that nearly half of the voting public buys their brands of BULL DUNG. . .it means almost half of the electorate can't think. . .that is deeply disturbing. . .

"The American fascist would prefer not to use violence. His method is to poison the channels of public information." ― Henry A. Wallace

"With a fascist the problem is never how best to present the truth to the public but how best to use the news to deceive the public into giving the fascist and his group more money or more power.” ― Henry A. Wallace

Ty TomCat. . .

The Romney's et types... have been with us for a very long time. . .the sad part is that nearly half of the voting public buys their brands of BULL DUNG. . .so at least half of the electorate can't think. . .that is deeply disturbing. . .point: a whole bunch of citizens need to quit playing the "Marketing Game" and get real...
including prominent politicians. . .it's gone way too far. . .propaganda has become a lifestyle. . .from those who say it better than i. . .

“Growth for the sake of growth is the ideology of the cancer cell.” ― Edward Abbey

“That's why they call it the American Dream, because you have to be asleep to believe it.” ― George Carlin

"The American fascist would prefer not to use violence. His method is to poison the channels of public information." ― Henry A. Wallace, 33rd US V.P. , former U.S. Sec. of Agriculture, Sec. of Commerce, et al

"With a fascist the problem is never how best to present the truth to the public but how best to use the news to deceive the public into giving the fascist and his group more money or more power.” ― Henry A. Wallace

Unfortunately common sense and good will are now in a choke hold as "propaganda" is discerned as truth by multitudes of millions. . . a deeply sad state of affairs. . .why would so many follow the war mongers and profiteers? More from Henry A. Wallace. . .

1944: "It should also be evident that exhibitions of the native brand of fascism are not confined to any single section, class or religion. Happily, it can be said that as yet fascism has not captured a predominant place in the outlook of any American section, class or religion. It may be encountered in Wall Street, Main Street or Tobacco Road. Some even suspect that they can detect incipient traces of it along the Potomac. It is an infectious disease, and we must all be on our guard against intolerance, bigotry and the pretension of invidious distinction. But if we put our trust in the common sense of common men and “with malice toward none and charity for all” go forward on the great adventure of making political, economic and social democracy a practical reality, we shall not fail." ―Henry A. Wallace, 33rd US V.P.

Puzzle — 4:20 but I expect that Patty will hammer us all very hard! This is one way you can get hammered and still drive without fear of arrest!

MoveOn — AMEN!!!!!

Reuters — Another Amen! I'll bet Battle Axe Brewer has her knickers in a twist over this!

YouTube — Shades of Rod Serling's Twilight Zone! The Twilight Zone — the perfect place for banksters for all eternity!

Cartoon — The elephants have been taking a malarky for some now! In fact, they're so full of malarky that their eyes are deep chocolate brown!

Kit, to add to your list,
Being born handsome, which as researchers have found, lends the person an easier way through life, an entitled way of being, just because they are more attractive through no effort on their own part.

Thanks Tom for the post.
The Abbey quote was great.
Good to see the "Nine in Black" will consider the Az. case. On the note I do want to tell you that US Supreme Court turned down (Ohio)Secretary of State Jon Husted's last minute appeal to eliminate the final three days of early voting prior to Election Day!!!!
Great video and cartoon.
Read, viewed and noted.
