In 2010, Republicans ran on a platform of Jobs, Jobs, Jobs! Then they did everything to stop Barack Obama from instituting measures to create jobs. In spite of that, the economy keeps growing, due to the few measures Democrats were able to pass, and those steps Obama could take via executive order. The Republican Party does not want you to understand that.

This is a Depression, we hate that word, but that's what we have. Recovery comes slowly and there are no magic bullets, no quick and easy solutions. The economy is doing exactly what we should expect, slow growth, slow recovery.

If you have major surgery, no competent doctor will tell you to get back on your feet and go back to work and play as normal, the next day. The human body takes time to recover, so does an economy.

And plenty have warned that the economy could reverse and more jobs be lost if Congress does too much to take money out of circulation (e.g, budget cuts that reduced jobs funded in agencies or via program funding).

Thanks Tom for the post. Romney really has no "jobs plan" for here in the US. but the upcoming lame duck Congress needs to get their act together and prevent the automatic budget cut that are looming if they don't. Read and noted.

The political employees of Corruption Inc aka the Republican/Teabaggers should be fired for dereliction of duty at the very least, as the theme of making Mr Obama a one term president by obstructing legislation is not in keeping with their oath of office, and therefore dereliction of duty . Personally, I think that there should be a way to charge them with sedition! After all, they are obstructing the work of the government and the people which could easily lead to rioting, violence and death.

If the Republican/Teabaggers spent as much time working for the people as they do opposing Mr Obama, the US would not have some of the problems it has now. The Republican/Teabaggers have shown themselves to be economically myopic, socially uncaring and irresponsible, bigoted, racist and warmongers.

Re-elect Obama/Biden 2012!!!!!

The reason that the Repuglicons always accuse the Democrats of underhand doings where none have happened or even been contemplated - is that THAT is what the Rebuglicons would have done in their place. Isn't it called PROJECTION??!!! They just cannot begin to imagine that other people aren't as downright terminally crooked as they are - poor things!
