I d/not know of Hillary Clinton writing to NASA, (back in the day), she would have made a great astronaut, IMO. Embarrassed by the news of (some) people in Decatur, GA...new low there. McCain should just retire, period. I will try and watch Rachel's special this Monday.! Thanks, Tom for this.

I hope Hillary is resting up for 2016.... Looking at what the Republicans have to offer is yet another version of "send in the clowns". And every time McCain speaks, I give thanks to the universe and intelligent voters that he was not elected president. With his brand of crazy, 'diplomacy' of any kind would be a LAST resort. I think he has a rather frightening obsession about the "surge" and carries grudges for a lifetime. He is an angry old man, not a leader and should retire quickly.

Will definitely be watching Maddow's special "Hubris, the selling of the Iraq War". I think it's a necessary reminder of the criminal acts of the Bush years which should not be swept under the rug. The GOP has NOT been good to us over the years. They are the party of destruction. We need to remember this, note that they are not offering anything better in present time, and vote them all out of office.

McCain is STILL defending Bush, Cheney, WMD in Iraq, the war itself, the surge - what an idiot! He is truly getting senile...I believe he should retire immediately. I watched Rachel Maddow make a complete fool of him last nite - showing all the times he used terrible language in Congress - then compared it to Hagel being "unpleasant". I can't wait for that Rachel Maddow's special"Hubris, the selling of the Iraq War" on Rachel Maddow's show on Monday. It's going to be a real ba** buster! I have the book: Hubris: The Inside Story of Spin, Scandal, and the Selling of the Iraq War on hold at my library. Two of my favorite people are Michael Isikoff and David Corn! We just can't let this happen again!

I'm so PROUD of Nebraskan Hagel - I watched his tirade again against the war way back when! He was SO courageous! Of course, I NEVER forgot that Obama voted against the Iraq war when everyone else was voting for it. Again - another lesson in courage!

Trip to the moon for Hilary is right, the cons are wishing and hoping she doesn't make a run for it in 2016 because she will flatten any person they put up. Rubio - never! Paul - double never! Untill they quit praying to the alter of the tea baggers they'll continue to lose. Hooray for the rest of us!

McCain is so far past his prime, like an older uncle who repeats himself over and over then if you call him on it, gets angry and yells. The man needs to hang it up, yes, he was a war hero but so were other men who never made it out of those cages in Viet Nam. I am sick and tired of his crazy rhetoric.

Georgia idiots make me wish the Secret Service would call in SWAT team back-up & shoot a few bean-bags into racist crowds! Still not as vicious as the regular cops are to Occupiers!:(

Of course the republicans cannot admit the Iraq war was a mistake. Where would their campaign money come from if not from the war profiteers and crooked Wall Street financial wheeler dealers?

Still can't believe that pathetic excuse given
by Mr. Unpleasant! Petty kindergarten
stupidity.

Thanks Tom for the post and the Rachel video segment.
MoveOn: Had no idea that Hillary wrote to NASA. She showed them what a woman can do!
Daily Kos: The Decatur incident is another "black eye" on the face of the GOP.
MSNBC: McCain needs medication and retirement to a padded room.
Great cartoon.

Puzzle 3:36 But I swear I was coming unchained!

MoveOn I wonder what that NASA official thinks now, if HE is alive still? Saying 'No' to a possible future POTUS, the first female POTUS, is truly amusing!

Daily Kos Simple minded, uneducated, ignorant, incoherent people that is the description of the protesters. That pretty much defines Republican/Teabaggers. I should also note that if a person has an education, they don't necessarily know how to use it.

MSNBC Is McConJob a "Jekyl and Hyde"? One minute he seems like Mr Nice Guy telling people to be polite, and the next he's being a junk yard dawg! He's getting old and senile, and definitely needs to go on some meds. Obviously he has no acquaintance with truth or manners, unless it serves his purpose.

Cartoon I've seen this picture before, so I know it is McConJob, but I also think in this one that he ressembles that sneering Cheney! Birds of a feather flock together.

I can't believe that anyone in this country, even the most ignorant racists, could so blatantly disrespect our President in such a manner! The ignorance and hatred are appalling! As usual, he handled it with grace and dignity --which should have made the protestors feel like even bigger asses than they actually are. Unfortunately, they're beyond hope and certainly beyond redemption. What an embarrassment to this country and what a poor example for our children!
