ThankX TomCat. All you guys know I'm no Rocket Scientist, but I didn't give up during the 15 minutes and change it took me to finish the puzzle. Now come on...give your newbie scores:):):)
ThankX for the other news. I truly believed this was a REAL add (although it may as well be) until the end. Admitting the truth today folks!

"This obvious satire makes an excellent point. Republicans act as though who other people love threatens their ability to love. It does not. If threatens only the popularity of their hate."

This is really funny. Over blown but funny. And it is the part of the argument against gay marriage that I have never understood though I have heard it thousands of times. What matters to an individual is only who that individual marries. It matters not who the rest of the world marries including the people on your block. It doesn't change the institution in any way, it doesn't affect any other marriage in any way, it simply accords all people the same choice and protections. I mean this is the most inane argument against gay marriage possible yet so many in opposition cite it as if somehow someone else's marriage affects their own. Well, does the fact that we allow divorce also then mean that EVERY marriage is threatened? Of course not, only those who decide to part ways. This is the flip side of that coin. The weakest, silliest argument possible. Yet this is all they can come up with. That somehow gay marriages will affect all hetero marriages negatively. No proof just this ridiculous assertion, backed by nothing but prejudice, fear and hatred. Like so many of our human rights policies. We have changed many of those over time and it is time we change this one too. And that opponents stop pouting like the emotionally-stunted children they are.

I never post my scores, but for you SuSanne, I will. 8:09. I am usually twice as long as others to finish. Keep trying, you will get better. On subject~ that video really made me irate, considering I am all for LGBT rights.

Too soon to send you another star, Gene. I like your comment. I did not take the video as satire. Thanks for pointing that out.

Puzzle 4:06 I've never been a chess fan . . . too much work!

MoveOn If you extend the premise that gay marriage affects other marriages and the ability to love as Republican/Teabaggers propose, then should not the extension of that, that every bad marriage affects every other marriage, be true? By that, the divorce rate should be much higher than 50%. Hate begets hate! Seems that the only selling point that the Republican/Teabaggers have. I'm surprised that they haven't added "Thou shalt hate the gays." to the 10 Commandments.

NY Times What a lot of people don't understand is that there is an inverse relationship between bond yields and markets stocket market up, bond market down. Corporations sitting on large piles of cash because demand for goods is down, are removing money from the market cycle and not reinvesting thus slowing things down. That is Economics 101 that even I understand. If you ask me, following the advice of these so called "economic gurus" of the Republican/Teabagger persuasion is no more than dancing with the devil and will lead to economic perdition. Paul Krugman is so spot on.

ABC "Sensible regulation poses no threat to responsible gun use, just like licensing and registration poses no threat to responsible driving." AMEN!!!!!

Cartoon Only one problem, wrong colour polish Republican/Teabaggers only respect bright red! Besides, that's the only way that Republican/Teabagger intelletuals can find the right digits! They only trust red.

Actually, the major basic Republican problem seems to center around the concept that ANYTHING anyone else has - health, happiness, a decent living standard, rights, freedoms - takes away from their own, because they should own/control it ALL... they make me dizzy with their illogic, unless viewed from that angle.
