As most of the last benefits from ObamaCare are about go into effect, the Obama administration is doing everything they can to inform the public, increase participation, and make the law better for everyone. Sadly Republicans, displaying that they have no honor, are unwilling to keep the agreements they made when the law was passed, so they are doing everything they can to make YOUR health care less efficient and more expensive.

Information about healthcare - http://www.care2.com/news/member/451276626/3615398

This is the actually government site, it will let you know what you do by state -- gives an 800 number for questions that is available 24/7 find out how to take care of your health care needs.

Questions? Call 1-800-318-2596, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

I look forward to seeing the increase in popularity and ease of use in about 2 years. It is a big program and it will take some time to work out the practical side of the kinks.

I would like to hear from an actual Republican congressman WHY bringing affordable healthcare to MORE of our citizens is so wrong and WHY the Republicans DO NOT have a better plan. And also HOW MANY of these republicans have stock in medical companies and how much these companies are giving to their campaigns.

Republicans are against anything that helps the poor and middle class. Just look at the evidence!
They are against SS, Medicare, Unemployment Benefits, Against 47% of the population, creating jobs, against clean air, against clean water, against equal pay for women, against minimum wage increase and the list goes on and on.

I just heard a republican'tthink say, Our plan is a medical savings account!!! OMG!

Are these people completely devoid of intelligence?

The short answer, Jason, is "YES".....like spoiled children, they have never learned to share - they want it all and they want it delivered yesterday. I do wish Anonymous would just take Fox off the air - that propaganda machine has convinced so many people of so many lies....

Why....Jason......whoever said they had intelligence? Snarky I know, but I am in one of my more-than-had-enough-Baggery-moods today, sorry. Every time I hear their LAME 'Medical Savings Account' bull excrement I laugh....like the working poor and middle class have any spare money to put in any kind of account. PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE. What f'ing planet are they living on??????

I feel ya, Arielle...wish they would too.

It truly is amazing, a Republican can have a string of post graduate degrees and still be dumber than the typical third grader.

Yeah, a savings account. Wouldn't that be exactly like a flex medical account? In Texas our max is $7,000. a year. Saving accounts, I remember those.

The GOP viewpoint, based on jostling for PR positioning with regard to their billionaire/corporate masters, which is displayed here is typical - they don't care about America or Americans; indeed are overtly hostile to most categories of Americans and use the rest as patsies, apart from the multimillion/billionaires/corporate powers that they serve.

They've made it obvious that they only care about getting themselves back into power to even more blatantly serve their corporate masters at the expense of the people, doing away with basic human rights and limiting/eliminating voting to set up what smells like a corporate dictatorship.

Getting healthcare right - or wrong - will determine whether millions of Americans actually GET more affordable healthcare - or healthcare at all.

Real elephants have been seen protecting or helping carry a sick/injured herd member, bringing them food and caring for them as well as they can.

The GOP elephant merely tramples the fallen to moisturize their feet.

This is and should not be about President Obama's place in history to the Republican Congressional Kindergarten bully club - this is about whether America is a civilized society; about whether American government is 'of, by for the people' or whether Americans and America exist for corporate use and abuse enforced by 'elected representatives'.

This is about humanity, sanity, common- and overall good economic sense, viewed from the standpoint of the country rather than its would-be corporate masters.

How have the Republicans NOT betrayed the people their offices exist to serve?

Also this, bearing in mind that convicted felons in the US apparently lose voting rights even after serving their debt to society and that if nipple exposure become a felony where Republicans dominate, this only applies to women - are they missing a single cheating electoral trick, with the Republican-appointment-dominated Supreme Court overturning the Voting Act to help eliminate any pretense of democracy where Republicans hold power?

At this stage, it would hardly surprise me to learn that this is another discriminatory law to be passed in all Republican areas and that they're planning on literally taking the shirts off female voters to charge them as felons prior to elections, to deny them the vote.

At this stage, there is nothing I'd put past them...

Obamacare sucks!

Robert K. (31)

Yep, every moron thinks Obamacare sucks and every rational person who has checked out what it actually is rather than the lies told by conservatives knows it's the best thing to happen for healthcare since Reagan let the hospitals become for profit operations.

Consider what you are Debbie.

Obamacare would have been the best thing since sliced bread if not for the 96 Republican amendments meant to weaken it, but as it's kicking in more and more the popularity of it is growing by leaps and bounds.

So Debbie, why don't you like it with its' huge savings and more and better service? You drinking the nutter Kool-Aid?

I would be a lot more excited about it if it had a public option instead of a mandate to buy for profit health care.

Keep the agreements we have, let the pain come on fast so that all can see and feel Obamacare for what it is ... a piece of unworkable crap that even the pushers can't push. There will be martyrs, always are, one side or the other ... once up and running the 2 "sides" and all their followers will see and experience the truth first-hand. Bring it on ...

Most people (Debbie and Deborah?) who are against Obamacare actually know little about it...they have swallowed all the GOP nonsense. Or maybe they work for the insurance companies who have raped and pillaged lo these many years?

We need Medicare for All.

While the ACA was finally able to pass Congress, as some have noted here, it came with quite a high price, and a windfall for the health insurance companies. It was suppose to be a Health Care Reform bill, but ended up being a Health Insurance Reform bill...minimally reforming the insurance companies. They had gone so far off track, and were still working to minimize health care for their customers in every way possible, so this was basically something "to stop the bleeding."
I'm 100% with James M (above): MEDICARE FOR ALL!

Obama care has all ready helped my sister. She has a 20 year old son that she was able to keep on her health insurance plan. He was recently diagnosed with Krohn's disease. If she did not have health insurance on him, she would be bankrupt.

The congress spends all of it's time trying to repeal ObamaCare lol. They must know it never going to happen. ObamaCare will help millions of people. The new republian/tea party(not that the old republians did) really donot care and they really do not understand that goverment plays a vital role in making America work for everyone

I would love to be as optimistic as Senator Franken, but I know how good the Republicans are at scare tactics. Sadly, I know too many people who believe what they hear about all the problems; the hypochondriacs of the Republican party. As for the NFL and the others who refused to help the president; what happened to stepping up and making your own choices? Where are the men? Guess they love their money too much.

It doesn't matter what programme you roll out, there will always be glitches. Why?

1) Because people don't read all the information available.

2) Because people expect perfection the first time through.

3) Because people don't prepare ahead of time and don't do what they are told.

4) Because of unforeseen circumstances programme administrators and computer tech supports are not clairvoyant!

5) Because someone who is generally opposed to the programme will try to fuddle it.

6) Because shit happens!

I have rolled out new products, new promotions, and new computer programmes throughout my banking career. Try as hard as you can, and you still won't get a perfect roll out!

Obamacare is no different. In my estimation, the biggest hazard is the Republicanus/Teabaggers who are, in stead of helping their constituents, laying a campfire in hopes that it becomes a raging wild fire.

All the negative rhetoric from the Republicanus/Teabaggers, including the 40 votes to repeal Obamacare, prove that they don't give a rat's ass about ALL their constituents. Obamacare will ensure that some 30 million Americans that currently don't have health insurance for various reasons, will be getting it. Instead of plugging emergency rooms which is more expensive, Americans can have preventative care so that there are fewer visits to the emergency.

Being Canadian, I have universal healthcare, and I wouldn't trade it for love nor money. When you say "Medicare for all James, I am assuming you mean universal healthcare.

The Republicanus/Teabaggers would be apoplectic on that one! If you think they bandy the words "socialist", "socialism", "communist" and "communism" around now a lot, universal care would be the end of the world to them.

Hope you get Obamacare rolled out and installed before there's nothing left worth installing. The Republicans have been beating at this for so long it's just a shadow of its former self.

You have a computer, go and learn the facts so you can sign up and know what you are doing, get the best possible price and coverage. Ignorance is just too expensive, go an educate yourself.
