A minority of Tea bagging dips is holding the entire country hostage with their political horseshit. Shame on the rest of the Republicans for allowing it. SHAME, SHAME, SHAME.

Kudos to Senator Warren for her great comments. I have to agree with her, re: Republicans tho', "hostage tactics/taking is all they have left". Sit down, open the doors, turn the lights on, and let both parties do their job, that's affecting the American people.!! Andy's 'spot on', and the cartoon is so sad.!! Take care, Tom, and thanks.!

Republicans take time for Photo Op with WWII Vets. Those mean old democrats closed the Parks and Monuments. Say What?
More stuff is gonna fly while the Shut storm continues on Bull S!#t Mountain.

Write letters, call and tell your Senators and House Rep, - Enough. You can be sure the tea bags and many Republican's are doing just that. You either speak up or don't complain when you are ignored.

Could we please replace Boner with Elizabeth Warren? I don't care how - let's just do it. Either that or I'll have to file a lawsuit against the GOP for ineptness, cruelty beyond imagination and mental anguish.

The thing is that with the Republicans is they really don't know the meaning of loosing or having a piss up in a brewery either. The Tea Party has left a rabid maw in the body politic as the Republican establishment pandered to Tea Party extremism to win the 2010 midterms and now that Establishment is "reaping the whirlwind". After three and a half years of legislative hostage-taking and policy nihilism and unceasing, uncompromising obstructionism of President Obama's agenda, the message from the Tea Party is a simple one: we want more crazy. Quite simply, Republicans are being destroyed by the right wing monster they created and Republicans have no one to blame but themselves. In nurturing and radicalizing its extremist fringe- in pursuit of short-term gain the Republican establishment created a political Frankenstein. Increasingly, however, it looks as though the monster's first victim is the Republican party. The government shut down is a disaster which is going to result in the Republicans being unelectable for another generation as they simply don't know how to run a country.

Left on Deb Fischer's Facebook page yesterday, in response to her sanctimonious (but totally unsurprising) email: Your offices are "operating on a limited basis"? What, you couldn't get your flunkies to work for free?

Like the Capitol police officers who put their lives on the line today--they're not being paid, but they did their jobs and risked their lives to protect the sorry butts of you and your TeaBag cronies. NO PIECEMEAL FUNDING OF THE GOVERNMENT. You want the deficit to come down? Here's an idea: End the taxpayer-funded corporate welfare. YOU know, the subsidies to Big Oil, Big Ag, NASCAR, the horse racing industry . . . to name a few.

I really should have pointed out that the deficit IS coming down, but I forgot. Sorry. I doubt it would've done any good anyway, she's a TeaBag. (Take that any way you like.)

Just got Adrian Smith's email: "You may be interested to know, I supported the Continuing Appropriations Resolution" Well of COURSE YOU DID, YOU BRAINLESS LEMMING! TELL US SOMETHING WE DON'T KNOW, YOU PREDICTABLE TOOL OF THE NRA.

I left a comment on his website yesterday, but I can't tell you about it here. No, no, it wasn't like that, I was actually polite. Mostly. It's just that it was just too long. I doubt Smith'll read it, and probably all his flunkeys are on furlough too.

Puzzle — 2:58 Pretty in pink!

Upworthy — Go Lizzie! Direct, truthful and concise. Even the Republicanus/Teabaggers should have the focus to pay attention and really listen for 5 minutes . . . but they won't.

The New Yorker — AB cracks me up! "Andy’s 100% satire reflects the entire truth." And ain't that the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth!

Alternet — There`s one word that pretty much sums these up — supercilious! The Republicanus/Teabaggers are a supercilious bunch of old dinosaurs!

1) Perry is an idiot. I guess it means nothing that the SCOTUS, that hotbed of conservative judicial activism, has upheld the ACA!

2) Itsy Bitsy Betsy! . . . and I'm just talking about the space between her ears, not her stature!

3) McTurtle stepped squarely in that pile of camel scat!

4) I'd settle for Laura Ingraham bleeding to death from a hangnail.

5) No Wolf. There`s a lot of blame to go to Boehner and the RepublicanuséTeabaggers!

6) Fun? Yeah, he gets paid no matter what, and hard working federal employees get an unpaid 'vacation'. What a putz!

7) Another RepublicanuséTeabagger putz with space for rent between his ears!

8) No big debate on Obamacare? What do you call the 43 attempts to repeal the ACA in the House? . . . or the debates before it was passed into law? Now maybe you have forgotten that you were not a legislator at that time. You don`t get to go back to debate it or any other bill that was passed before your time!

9) It`s only insidious because it does away with Republicare and the Republicaire death panels.

10) Dear Alternet — How about the unnatural disaster called the Republicanus/Teabagger party?

Cartoon — Disingenuous to the max! Hey Republicanus/Teabaggers, does a $40 billion cut to SNAP ring any bells?
