Ty Tom.

Kelly on Faux is a total joke. Only a halfwit would take anything she says seriously.

Good example of what we call the ill effects of peer pressure on teenagers before their brains have finished developing to accurately assess the risks of decisions they are making.

I don't know what mental disease Cruz has but surely someone can give a correct diagnosis. Right now I'm thinking severe OCD. Talk about bat-shit-crazy, he makes Bachman appear sane. To be honest, I enjoy every little tidbit of the party imploding, couldn't happen to a worse bunch of corporate loving whores.

Kelly, the latest blond to have her own show on faux. Soon, they'll have her sitting at a desk with her legs showing like they exploit the other women on their shows. Oh well, apparently Rethugs women don't have much self worth, it's all with the men in the party running itself into the ground. Right now I cannot wait for the 2014 elections because if this keeps up the Dems with take back the house.

Time 4:13 - slow today
Oh, Tomcat I watched that Fox video and other than feeling Very queasy I do have a question. Who uses a word like shambolic? This farce was a self induced, this was the train wreck not Obama care, but the republican tantrum that did become their worst defeat in many years. Now let us play that one more time in November 2014,

This is the 1st time that I have ever really watched/listened to Fox news and only because Tom put it out there. Thanks, I think.

Can I hurl, toss, puke, regurgitate, upchuck, or otherwise spew my innards now…….

I bet Orwell is spinning, no, make that….rotisserie-ing (yeah, I know, that is not a real word, give me some literary license here please) in his grave over these Fascist Bast**ds. They exist in a parallel universe apparently.

So sorry you have yet ANOTHER insanely noisy neighbour TC – so awful, I really feel for you!

You will be delighted to hear that when I read the New Yorker piece I was so discombobulated that I took it seriously for the first paragraph, I thought "What? He is telling the TRUTH!!!" – then of course I realised – they got me!

So sorry but my machine just deleted a paragraph…. they do that when you are tired, don't they?!

wouldn't normally poison my mind with anything on FAUX news, but I listened to the clip you had, Tom, this one may make me even more passionate to never listen again....

I gotta say I have truly overdosed on Repugs, Agent Orange, Little Eddie Munster, and most certainly, Ted Crud...er, ah, I mean, Cruz. I thought Obama's speech - called a lecture by some - was brilliant and direct and if it sounded like a lecture, just maybe that's what they deserved, those miserable beings who pretend to represent us....

It may be parody, but the New Yorker may turn out prophetic too with "Sen. Cruz said, “We’ll give it another try in a few weeks.”" Cruz is already full steam ahead with spinning this into something positive and trying to get his troops to march with him again. And if he doesn't get any more opposition from within the GOP, he'll succeed.

You introduced Kelly a few threads ago as the new Fox bimbo and how right you were. I'm not sure if she can read her cue-cards right, because I think she said: "Where was the leadership on that... on both sides?" which will not get her a pat on the shoulder (or thereabouts) from her masters, I think.

If the Teabaggers knew that their strategy wouldn't work beforehand there can only have been one reason for the shut down and that is to get Cruz in the limelight. There's just nothing else left that makes any sense. This narcissist and pathological liar (trust me, I'm a psychologist) is apparently convinced he can become the next president even without backing of the GOP who's saner members he is alienating a mile a minute. Soon he'll not only own the country $ 25 billion, but the GOP too, because after he's sucked the party completely dry, he'll continue with a new party: the TP split-off.

New Yorker: Lots of truth in that article, unfortunately about Cruz. Signed both petitions too. "Because that’s the amount that S&P estimates the shutdown cost the economy. $24 billion." Thanks, Patty for the links.. WOW.! Sorry to hear about your new neighbor, Mr. Dancer, seems like it is becoming a circus over there. Hope you get some rest, today, Tom, and this weekend. Take care.

Someone might want to ask Cruz why he keeps money in Caribbean banks and doesn't pay tax.

Puzzle — 3:25 I really did not want to be in the water pushing the damn boat Jerry, so move over!

The New Yorker — I don't know which line is better . . . from Cruz, from Boehner, from Lee? However, unfortunate as it is, I believe this from Cruz is a promise to America . . .

"Sen. Cruz said, “We’ll give it another try in a few weeks.”"

Let's hope that it is just another political promise that is not kept!

Media Matters — Gag me with a silver spoon! Kelly asked "Where was the leadership on entitlement spending? . . . " I would ask, "Where was the leadership on raising taxes on those that make $1 million or more per year and on tax reform to close some gaping loopholes?" First, she needs to read yesterday's article "Some Truth About the Debt and Deficit" so that she has some basic understanding of the facts. If she really wants to reduce the debt, then taxes on the wealthy must be increased. Second, entitlement spending? Where is the leadership for efficient and fair spending — subsidies to oil companies for example?. . . subsidies to big ag? Leadership is certainly not coming from the Republicanus/Teabagger party.

Daily Kos — Make it so America!

"Well, as infuriating as the GOP nihilistic strategy has been, one thing is for sure: It's now a whole lot less likely that come 2017, they'll still be in control of the House—let alone the Senate or presidency."

Cartoon — Are the Republicanus/Teabaggers going to claim that they didn't know the gun was loaded?

I hear Peter King wants the Repubs to declare war on Ted Cruz.

Couldn't see the video, reading the comments that may have been a blessing.

Well, Beverly M posted a petition dunning Ted Cruz personally for $24 billion. If you want to sign it, see http://www.care2.com/news/member/904222254/3658994. I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for the money, though. It's probably the same petition Patty posted, since I just gave the Care2 link. But anyone can sign.

Thanks everyone. When I put up a Faux Noise clip, it's not to assault your innards, although it does have that extent. It's so you'll know what the goose-steppers are thinking and why.
