Good luck again my friend on your move. Don't let it stress you out to the point you get sick again!

I think Silverman is partly right.vaginas are very scary things .to Xtian Fundy Fascist Baggers and 99% of the rest of the Kochroach party.

Gotta love Colbert!

Not expanding nor are they wanting to pay up on the existing accounts either. But, what does one expect from the REDS..the Kochsu**ers.

Did y'all notice that the Open Thread is dated 11/30/13. Funny things are happening yet again. My E. cards are showing as being picked up in 1969. Advice to the mover, make lists, lots of lists. I watch Maddow and Chris Hayes. Don't always get to Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert. Not enough hours in the day.

Tom, Happy for you and your being able to move now. Lots to do, hint, make lists and check them off as you go. Cohen such a proven Republican as they all talk out of both sides of their mouths, loved Colbert's attack.

Great parenthesising of by Colbert of Richard Cohen, which made it very clear that this was not just a one-time slip-up. He is a GOP bigot and he is a bad, uncreative writer that hides behind the tricks that the GOP have been using for ages: first say that you are not a racist or bigot and then say the most outrageous racist or bigoted thing. Youve had plenty of examples of this trick in your articles, TomCat. Besides being racist it also shows the mindlessness (i.e. literally being without a brain) of the GOP. They still think the trick works.
I dont think the Washington post is going to throw Cohen out, and it really doesnt matter, because this newspaper may have been liberal in the past, but what Ive seen in print there lately is exemplary for a newspaper gone downhill after selling out to the Republicans and/or big money (Amazon?).

I couldnt watch Sarah Silverman on YouTube and was told to try later, but as Im not that great a fan of her Ill think I pass this one, TomCat.

The Koch brothers and their network of think tanks and anti-ACA campaigners are beyond despicable, beyond fascist and beyond inhuman. There seems no rhyme or reason to their opposition of affordable healthcare. OK, the health insurance companies, of which they probably make money off, may not be able to make the same unhealthy profits as before, and perhaps the pharmaceutical industry in which theyre probably emerged too, may not show the same profit levels, but if you keep people alive and healthy then they become or remain your customers for all the other products you have on the market, even if they are poorer. If the Koch brothers would total up all the money they have to spend on these think tanks and campaigners, politicians who have to be bought, making and airing all these ads and so on and so forth plus the money they make on the things poor people buy, even if it is just to stay alive, such as food, energy and water, then surely this would add up to more than if they kept the poor of healthcare and let them die? So the only reason I can think of to keep the poor as low as possible is because they are afraid of them. Afraid of the downtrodden coming to their senses and revolting against them. Sounds familiar? The Koch brothers know it has happened before and may happen again. And the way they are tyrannizing the country, they should be afraid. Very afraid.

From Wikipedia: The Brady Handgun Violence Prevention Act (Pub.L. 103159, 107 Stat. 1536, enacted November 30, 1993) is an Act of the United States Congress that instituted federal background checks on firearm purchasers in the United States.
Surprisingly, the Bradys were Republicans who came to their senses after Jim Brady was shot in the head during an assassination attempt on his boss, Ronald Regan, which left him paralysed for the rest of his life. His wife Sara fought hard to push this bill through in 1993, but to get a second version up for vote, it looks like another Republican needs to be shot to get anything done With the Koch brothers working above and under the radar and their hand puppets in the house doing overtime to accommodate them, any shooter pushed to his or her limits has a fair choice of candidates, Im afraid.

Personal moving tip: on boxes of stuff I need to get to fast, I tape a list to the box and/or slip in the top for when opened (if sort of stuff thieves might like). Thanks for Colbert to brighten this rainy day!

Hallejulah on your new place, Tom! May it bring you much joy, fun and laughter - as well as a lot of peace and quiet!

The states not expanding medicare should all be kicked out - or at least, the politicians should be.

Tom, spending like a RepubliCON means Never using your own money, only buying useless baubles, & don't forget paramilitary purchases (guns, ammo, Sarah Palin Posters, & survivalist magazines)and caviar.

5:01 I guess it's tough to engage in reflection.

Yippee! So happy for you! Anything we can do, besides be patient?

"Colbert Eats Him For Dinner" Gosh, I hope he doesn't get indigestion.

"Vaginas Really, Really Scare People" and have for a long, long time! http://www.nbcnews.com/id/30332998/ I didn't change "people" to "men" because at times women were scared of them too. But I can hardly improve on Hildegard of Bingen's take.

Cartoon - Patty, you got that right!
