Every year, CPAC (Conservative Political Action Committee), more accurately labeled CPUKE, conducts a straw poll to see whom the rabid Republican base would choose as President. They virtually never actually do, thank goodness! If you don’t already know who this year’s winner is, I’ll give you three hints. One, he is an idiot! Two, he is the son of an idiot!! Three, he is named after an idiot!!!

Stupid is as stupid does!

Obviously, when brains were being handed out, Republicanus/Teabaggers, whether at CPUKE or in general, thought the word was trains and said they'd get the next one! BTW, God was handing out brains which confirms for me that they have no direct link and they don't listen, even to God.

Even children have the sense to know when they are making fools of themselves but then children apparently have more intelligence than this crowd.

In a fit of (in)sanity - it all depends on how you look at it - the GOP showed their true colours and chose the man who really and truly represents them and their vision on the world. One could only hope that they actually choose this extremely stupid man who has no original ideas, but only parrots or steals the idea's from others and is always found out. The GOP is so glad to hear their own ideas from his mouth, that they have no idea that he'll do a lot of damage with his stupidity.

Cruz is much more dangerous because he's very intelligent and sly and changes his tune depending on the audience he has and the feedback he's been getting. He could do well in debates and on other topics than one-track pony's "keeping the poor poor".

One dynamic is that the press tends to go to the straw poll winner for a few weeks whenever doing a story apt to have a partisan divide and that expanded coverage seems to reveal the winner for what they are so they lose some of their public support in Gallup and other legitimate opinion polls.

I'm not sure there was anyone they could have picked that would NOT cause excessive regurgitation. They all range from slimey (Cruz) to idiocy (Rand). We may have to band together to buy out Faux Noise and then (gasp) put real news on there so the people are actually (another gasp) educated!

CPAC is a joke. I still want to know why Rand Paul was using "Obamacare" for his son and how he got Medicaid when he didn't even apply for it. If he is so against the healthcare initiative, why was he trying to use it?

You forgot to mention, TC he has also practiced medicine without a license. Is it really any wonder the men that can not even spell intrepidity would win the top two spots on CPAC? I honestly tried to watch some of it, but the urge to vomit continued to over whelm.

When Paul was running for Senate I sent out tweeter feeds about his lack of license to Maddow and others in the news, hoping this would at least be discussed. If a man will organize his own "AMA" with himself as president, his wife as VP and his sister as treasurer; then we must question what if anything is below his standards.

"[....]Rand Paul continues to perform eye “surgery in his home state, often getting favorable media attention for performing free eye procedures. His profile on the website of the Tri-Star Greenview Regional Hospital, where Paul has privileges, includes the notation “Specialty Board Certifications: Ophathalmology.” Likewise on the Healthgrades Web site where patients can locate physicians his entry reads: “Ophthalmology, Board Certified.” [....]

Remember we still have options for this coming election and I will strongly support Senator Bernie Sanders, why not sign the petitions?

RepubliCONs have no shame, Rand Paul is a prime example of a user & a loser. Their righteous stupidity prevents them feeling humiliation – unless caught with their pants down – and even then it's not from getting caught, just the usual comparison of not measuring up..;)

It ought to be wonderful fun to watch the campaign, if this putz gets the GOP nod!
I just hope that if he runs, people will not be laughing so hard in the voting booth, that they press the wrong button.

I lost a night,s sleep over this.
What kind of SICK DERANGED MIIND woulld suggest the NUCLEAR solution to the Russia Ukrianian issue?
The Sick Deranged mind of Palin.(speech yesterday),and What kind of Sick deranged minds of the audience who applauded .her These people. Are Sociopathic members of the T Party.
I would suggest that they should ALL view the newsreels of the events of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.Where human beings were vaporised, and the fate of survivors is too horrible for the mind to imagine.
BUT I doubt that they would even care.and the only ones who would be affected would be decent rational human beings.
TC. I still feel sick over this.

CPUKE...I like that nomenclature for this pack of rabid Neanderthals.....

And yes....It could be worse...but better for Dems, if Crackhead would have won their poll. But the one they chose is bad enough on the Batsh*t scale of Crazy.
