Ever since it became crystal clear that ObamaCare is working so well that Republicans can no longer use it is their scandal du jour, Benghazi has been the be all and end all of Republican attempts to manufacture a scandal to keep Americans from focusing on how Republicans in government are behaving. Why is the terrorist responsible still at large? Why did you decrease embassy security? Why didnít you protect the American Ambassador? Why did Susan Rice lie to us with that ridiculous tale about a movie setting it off? On and on they go, whine after whine! But while Republicans whined, Obama acted.

Obama has acted, and not in his usual fashion by having alleged terrorists executed by drone without trial, but in a clean capture. And the alleged perpetrator is not taken to Gitmo, but will stand trial to answer for his deeds. Mind you, he is still a suspect, and proof of his involvement in the bombing must be brought to court first. This is the only way this should be played out, following the rules set by the UN. Good job. Neither the GOP nor the rest of the world can find fault with this action. Well, let's limit that to the rest of the world.
On the film being the trigger for this attack, I reserve commenting until the Libians, who allegedly overheard Ahmed Abu Khattala saying that was their motivation to attack, are in court telling that or better still, if Khattala is admitting that himself.
And this admittance better not be under undue 'pressure' that has seem to become the fashion in interrogations.

However this plays out, it is clear that the Right just isn't able to throw the switch and will continue calling 'Benghazi' and milling their demented #Benghazi right until the elections, simply because they haven't got anything else to keep the attention of their Korzakov-afflicted voters.

"Obama brought them to justice. Bush looked for Osama under the furniture. Embassy security was reduced, because House Republicans cut the funding for it. The Ambassador chose to go beyond the area where he could be protected, and Susan Rice told the truth, as youíre about to see."

The clowns are certainly quiet today aren't they? Too busy looking for something else to whine about. Bush quit looking for Osama, remember? He said he didn't actually care about him anymore or spend anytime working on finding him, too busy mucking up Iraq. I do like that this particular bad guy will be showing up in an American courtroom. That is the proper way to handle such things.

Obama is doing a lot of things lately that do not involve our Do-Nothing-Congress - and I'm all for it! He doesn't stand in front of a camera pounding his chest either - he just moves on to the next thing that needs done. "The tendency to whining and complaining may be taken as the surest symptom of little souls and inferior intellects"

I really appreciate Joe Wilson's telling it like it is about the fact that the Republicans are dishonorably, knowingly, and intentionally undermining our national security by their grandstanding. Sure many are morons. But some, not just Cheney, Bush, and Rumsfeld, are traitors.

When you are outside government, criticism about what was done or not done is a respected tactic. When you have been elected to govern you need to do something else per your oath of office. Obama set records on accomplishments in his first year in office. This term he is adding many signature pieces that may put him in the top tier of all our presidents.

"While Republicans Whined, Obama Acted!"

With Obama...business as usual. He will go down in history as one of the greatest, if not #1. I thank God everyday that he has been Prez in these terrible times...otherwise, we'd be doomed.

They have become a party of those who put others down in order to make themselves look good because they have no good qualities that they can point to about themselves. they all suffer from a severe lack of self esteem. This is a very common issue among school children who haven't had enough attention from loving parents. Often, they turn into bullies because it is the only way they can bolster their self esteem. Well, they think it is the only way when, actually, it is just the "easy" way, much easier than actually working hard to make something of yourself in order to show others (and yourself) that you are, indeed, a worthwhile individual. Instead they just keep trying to bring others down to their level.

You know, when someone is accusing others of doing things, without proof at all that those things happened, it is because that is what the accuser would be doing if given the chance. Like when a man accuses his wife of cheating on him, not because of any proof he might have but, instead, because he is actually cheating on her.

They fear the heck out of Hilary. Because Hilary can take them down and they know it. An added benefit is how fearful they are of her husband, too.

Republicans are out of their minds. Why anyone would listen to them or vote for them is beyond me. These people have definitely lost touch with the average American.

Noted. Fantastic post,TomCat! One could hope that the various whiners, traitors and warmongers would be silent, at least for awhile...probably not, given the extent of their extreme hatred and reality impairment. Thank you, TC!

I commented the other day, wondering what the Teapugs would do to try to spin Benghazi their way, now.
Last Saturday, there were Tea Partiers at an intersection (maybe more, I don't know) in my town with signs about Obama being "The first anti-American President," and putting him down over the Veterans Hospital issues.
Quell bunch of buffoons!!
Where were they when Bush was calling vets"beggars,?

I keep hoping that eventually those that have supported the republicans in the past will see how pathetic they truly are and I hope they experience that epiphany by election day.

It would not surprise me to find out that the Republicanus/Teabaggers orchestrated the entire Benghazi incident. Sure, they didn't pass adequate funding for embassy security thereby putting people at heightened risk. But where did this piss poor video come from? Who orchestrated it? I have no proof, only questions. I am not a conspiracy theorist bent on my own agenda. I believe in the truth, something that does not exist in the minds and actions of Republicanus/Teabaggers.

Well, what are the Republicans going to focus on now? The ACA, or Obamacare is successful, the Benghazi theories are debunked, the economy is growing, their attacks against his personal life have not done well. Their little minds must get busy trying to find some justification for their existence in DC.

While the GOP sits on their butts, does nothing except complain, President Obama is making great strides in areas not expected.
He will go down in history as one of our best Presidents and no one can change that.

Thanks to all. Too many kudos to count.

They will keep on with the same bogus claims, because the sheeple inside the Republican bubble machine will know none of the facts about it.

The second time it did, so here goes again:

Republicans think that a whine or two a day - like an apple a day, keeps the left wingers away, but all the Republicans can do is whine.

Certainly, 'Benghazi Bill' is still whining away over in the old Virginia oral sex thread telling us all how President Obama was born in Kenya, nattering on about Benghazi and other things that have nothing to do with oral sex.
It appears that Republicans are utterly obsessed with President Obama.

When we told Benghazi Bill that there was a relevant thread about how so few Republicants showed up for an anti-Obama protest in Washington, D.C., he would not leave the oral sex thread. Odd.
