There are few Americans, that have dome more destroy this nation’s human and economic rights than Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), popularly known as Bought Bitch Mitch. He has even gone so far as to call for more government shutdowns, even though the last time Republicans did so, they cost US taxpayers millions, because of the damage they did to our credit rating. At last, someone is calling him out on it.

The biggest problem with Mitch is that he fails to remain bought when he is bought

Good on ya, Alison Grimes!. Show him up for the egotist he is. McConnel doesn't care about Kentucky nor about its people. All he cares about is himself and being patted on the back by the other good ole boys in the GOP for pestering Obama. Come to your senses, Kentucky!

McConnell is disgusting and despicable and a real tragedy for the US. How does he live with himself is beyond me.

The point of calling him out IS to Get Out The Vote and PUT him out. Anything we can do the help ...

The ad is good and oh so necessary! McTurtle is screwing Kentucky big time. Now let me see, isn't he supposed to be representing Kentuckians?

I am so looking forward to Turtle soup! . . . not to eat though! Gads, that would give me Republicanitis! I'd use it as weed killer , , , toxic enough, eh!

Ditch Mitch! Ditch Mitch! Ditch Mitch! Ditch Mitch! Ditch Mitch! (there's a song in there I think!)

There is always the impression when Mitch McConnell speaks, you have to insert a quarter to get him to work. As with quite a few politicians they will take a stand on anything as long as the price is right. He has has established himself as the most dishonest and incompetent creature ever to occupy a position of authority in the U.S. government. If it wasn't for the fact that him and his ilk have lowered the reputation of the politician lower than a snake's genitals with his cravenly political stunts, insincerity and political incompetence
He even proposed a bill and then filibustered himself. With that type of stupidity there is a serious need for the United States not to slip into the Banana Republic style of politics but then it may be too late.

let us hope the voters of KY dump Mitch for Ms. Grimes........I don't have too much faith in voters in the south of the country, but maybe.....

Nothing wrong with the voters in the south, no more than anywhere else..Hopefully Ky. does ditch him.

Thanks Tom for the post. Kudos to the person(s) who produced this ad and to Ms. Grimes for taking dirt bay Mitch on. Read, viewed and noted.

So--how does he stay in office?

What do you know about voters in the South, Dave C??? I suspect you don't know as much as you think you do, and you're just running your mouth for the benefit of people who think just like you do. I agree with Stardust, who said "nothing wrong with voters in the South, no more than anywhere else". And I hope KY will ditch him as well.

I think we passed the point of going "Banana Republic" a good while ago, and that if Kentucky does not ditch that Mitch we might have cashed in our return ticket.

The quality of the ad shows the quality of her team and message and explains why she outraised him on contributions so many months (after 30 years as so-called GOP leader, shouldn't he have been able to be helping other GOP Senate candidates like Boehner is in the House?)...He may well be joining Cantor with his absence of leadership.

am glad Alison is getting tough in her ads. Mitch is using her in his ads as an Obama slave, something he knows will cost her votes in this red state. She is still neck and neck with him in the polls. Ihope this ad makes more people pay attention. The economy is so terrible here, with so many out of work and/or fearful that they soonwill be that I am afraid people aren't really listening.

Thanks, Stardust Noel for defending us. I do get a little tired of the snobbery towards the south that shows up here from time to time. Last time I checked, Wisconsin and Minnesota were both in the north, Ky certainly hasn't done any worse than they have.

I believe that Mitch McConnell is a very desperate man, right now.
He will do almost anything to keep his position of power. The problem is, he isn't certain which way to turn.
Of one thing I am certain; surely, he wishes he had never heard of the Tea Party. His life has changed drastically, negatively, ever since they came on the scene.

This will be a most fascinating election, coming up.

Thanks all. Stars all around. Asa fore voters in the South, there are three kinds of voters everywhere. The best voters help keep Republicans out of office, worse voters help Republicans gain power, and worst voters: those who don't vote all and whine about government.

Edith, you're welcome, you also don't ever see anyone retiring & moving up north, do you ? :-)

The ad is SUPERB!! And I can't wait to see him clean out his office and LEAVE CAPITOL HILL FOR GOOD AND ALL!
He thinks putting out an ad that basically says he is going to shut the government down, AGAIN, is smart?? How many millions of tax-payer dollars did that cost us??? TOO MANY!!!

Noted. The people of Kentucky deserve better than this guy - unfortunately, if they vote him in again, then we are all going to suffer. If you know anyone in Kentucky, tell them it is time for Grimes and time for Mitch to go!

Pam W. asked "So-- how does he stay in office?" I say lies, lies and more lies. He blames the economic struggle of the coal miners on President Obama and the EPA when in reality it is 'just business' for Peabody and anyone else who is scraping dirty coal out of the Appalachains. The price of 'dirty' coal is down so much due to 'cleaner' alternatives like natural gas so the the coal companies don't want to mine it anymore - ergo, it is all the fault of President Obama. Also, if you sign up for Obamacare, you just might get that black lung issue treated at no cost, so blame that on Obama for asking better off people to buy insurance.

It amazes me that these fools just
can't grasp the concept in this day
and age that any thing they say is
likely to be recorded and shared.
Help others to register.
Take someone to the polls.

"In a dark new web ad, Alison Lundergan Grimes hits Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) for signaling confrontation that could spark a government shutdown if he becomes majority leader."

I'm not really sure one can say he was busted, though I applaud her ad and hope she stays on the attack through the campaign and puts Mitch back in his outhouse where he belongs. He's been bragging about his plan to shutdown the government if he becomes majority leader and the President won't agree to major spending cuts. He's proud of it, it is his campaign. He thinks that is what will cause Kentucky to send him back to Washington. He might be right. Even though he is dead wrong.
