By forcing wronged consumers to resort to arbitration, our legal system is green-lighting corporate malfeasance.

Anything so they can ram their unhealthful swill down our throats and make the Little Guy powerless to fight back. We need to spread news of this far and wide and raise lots of hell so we can get these vile, sneaky "agreements" defanged and outlawed.

I suppose it goes along with the industry policing itself privatization of justice. As class action lawsuits are squeezed out of existence the courts certainly can't handle the business anymore and the expense of extensive litigation in endless appeals and footdragging. More and more the consumers are the victims of welfare for the rich. Where is consumer protection without class action lawsuits?

Nice to know my MN Senator Franken is co-sponsor of bill...but there's still the nasty GOPTP in the House.

This crap has got to stop but we've had a spineless Government that has failed to protect us at every step of the way.

However, Elizabeth Warren got the Consumer Protection Bureau up and this is now suppose to be addressing a lot of these issues. I'd say things like this should be reported to them.

This world is "sue" happy. If it goes left instead of right, if it doesn't have enough pink o's, etc., we sue, sue, sue. What every happened to taking responsibility for yourself and your actions. If you buy something and it isn't right, why sue? Why not go to the store for a replacement? 9 out of 10 times there will be no problem getting it because the store wants to keep the customer happy. It is interesting to think that big business is now acting like they know and own it all. What's next?
