Training is important......water & cardiac check-ups - even moreso!

Guess it doesn't matter how old you are....people must stay fit & hyrdrated to run a marathon!

Wicked......I agree.

One can not just up & start running
the body is not trained for it.

Plant trees for life.................

yep you have to train your way up. You need the proper shoes too makes a big difference! Though Euel Gibbons was a regular runner and a health food fanatic and dropped dead running one day from a heart attack. It can happen to anyone.

They should have a walking marathon instead.

Walking even long distance is so much easier
on the human body. We are not ment to do all
this high powered stuff.....We are not cheetahs
or gazelles.

Plant trees for life....................

I was raised in the belief there's a time to be born & a time to die. It's predestined no matter what you do or don't do it's inevitable.

One shoudl always check to see if they do not have a heart problem even thought hey are fit as a fiddle.. blood tests and further test should be done regardless of a marathon but annually to determine if there are any underlying problems
