In the UK, long working hours mean fathers are missing out on spending time w/their kids, and 7 in 10 mothers believe their husband is just as good at looking after the kids as they are...Institute wants gov't. to pay more for leaves.

Although we have the same problems here in America, I'm wishing we had an institute to do research...and for ppl. to read about that would also bring these facts to light over here. Good for the UK for trying to fix a major issue that has long haunted the "family-unit."

Noted. Kudos to the UK and its families for recognizing the importance of children having time with both parents and for valuing children sufficiently to put this on their nation's agenda. Thanks, Kathy!
