The media create an environment of hostility toward all women! At this moment it feels like Hillary is a stand-in for every woman who has ever tried to get ahead and be taken seriously by the powers that be, but we aren't the only ones facing bias!

I will not let this issue just fall by the wayside, as I feel it's something I've posted, written about, and discussed throughout my entire life. I do NOT see a major change in the way successful women are described or talked about in the media. We still have sexist commercials, snide comments about women politicians, or athletes, or's definitely time to be way more critical of people letting those comments slip past their lips and onto screens and blogs, and news/magazines that our daughters, granddaughters, nieces, sisters...mothers, aunts, ANYONE female can see!! And what is this teaching the young men of our future about respect???

If the Media has their way Senator Clinton won't have a snowBALLS chance in hell. I wish people would WAKE up! Do the research, go to the candidate's web sites and READ! Don't let the media tell you who you should vote for make up your own minds!!! Noted and signed the petition.

I wish they would report the facts and stop the creative writing and
comments. Good journalism and creative writing were two very different
classes when I was in school. Report the facts and let people make up
their own minds on how they feel about it.

Estella, I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for the media to tell you the truth or the (facts). The (fact) is, the media is owned by BIG busness and they are only going to "tell" you what they want you to hear.
