I know I'm going to get some boos on this one and that's ok. I have free speech and so do you.
Here's one thing that deeply concerns me about Islam vs. Jewish and Christian and perhaps other religions,
I, personally, believe there is a Creator of these worlds and I studied about him in Indian teachings. I'm very inclined toward the teachings of many worlds, we are in the lower worlds, and the Creator of these worlds
is ONE. He is known by many names and reveals himself through many religions.
Now, here's what bothers me. Muslims are deeply respectful to this one Creator. Jews and Christians cannot even compare. This Creator God wants to be known, acknowledged and respected. Jews and many professing Christians don't and won't. But, ahhhh, the Muslims will and do.

Now, for those of you ready to "take me on", atheists and would be evangelists alike, don't bother.
You, at least many of you, have free speech, at least for now, and I have the right not to listen. Any emails that you send me with the purpose of "enlightening" me will not be read through and will not be acknowledged.
I respect your right to believe what you will. I have the same right.
That's the good thing about Care2. For the most part, we can agree to disagree.

Really! Look at what has happened to the ethics of America! Look at the history of the Jewish people. Check the old testament for God's tears over Israel yet his surrender of them to their enemies.
We used to be a Christian nation though not fully. Now even our children are openly having sex, getting pregnant, using drugs. Atheists are gaining victorys. We have shut G-D out of our schools, and we seem to delight in defying his humane laws. Not all of us. There are some who walk in the ways of wisdom and right-ness. And they are mocked. Even our churches have become businesses. They're out to get the money out of people and many are social clubs YET NOT ALL!
How often do you see someone dare to pray over a meal in a restaurant. Yes, it happens.
Look, think. This Earth in all its original complicated detailed beauty did not get here by accident.
We are a rebellious people. Our Earth is perishing and our politicians worship money and power,
I'm not waving a REPENT sign, That doesn't work. I'm just saying..,,,think. Like the G-D of Christians and of Jews said in the Old Testament :Come let us reason together,"
The folks on Care 2, atheists, sceptics, Jews, Christians, we are setting aside our differences and working together to try to save our planet for our children and our grandchildren. That's what Creator wants us to do.
Yet, our children are on drugs! I have talked with many young people who feel they have little chance of a future. Many feel hopeless,
Enough said. I don't want to preach,. I don't even call myself a Christian,. I have too many differences with the theology of today. I'm not trying to convince you of anything, I'm just asking you to be aware of the evil of our present society. We need to change our ways to ways of decency and respect for one another and for CREATOR by whatever name,.

My own belief is that if we call on Creator, by whatever name, he will hear us providing we are sincere. But I think Creator honors our refusal to allow him to participate in our cultures.
The Muslims make Creator, as they understand him, the center of their culture. It's just an observation.
I do NOT endorse their religion. It is not mine. Neither is today's Christianity mine! I do believe in Creator and that he does not want to be ignored, even barred, from our society. He's honored in the Muslim society.
And the power of the Creator is the power both of creation and destruction. He's jealous. Read the Old Testament and he can be angry and he said, "Vengence is mine." He's not a Santa Claus god.

I want to make it clear to each one of you, I respect you and whatever your spiritual path may be. I am just trying to draw your attention to what troubles me. Creator gets respect, honor, even to the death from the Muslims. What does he get from us?
YET there are many righteous people and dedicated souls in our country even though the Republicans seem to me, maybe not to you, but to me so many of the leaders seem to be making a mockery of God. They seem to be contrary to the poor. Creator is concerned that we should care for the poor. They seem to be not using wisdom in their decisions. Who's going to feed the sudden population explosion when birth control is gone? many differences etc. that you already know about.
It's just my opinion and everyone has one, lol Thank God, for now, we can express our opinions.

Zee, Commercialism often wins over religions and replaces them, that's the reality of our life.
Religious Christians and Jews may not like it, but they deal with it. In comparison, the extremist Muslims call it the "Great Satan". It makes sense considering that Commercialism takes people away from thinking about God to thinking about this world.
That approach makes Muslims different as they look more sincere. However, the concept of destruction of Great Satan rather than its transformation may contradict the main goals of the Creator in our world - to create!
Therefore, I agree with you on Muslims being currently the most vocal group praising God on words, but will name the role of Judeo-Christian culture (condemn sin and forgive the sinner) as more constructive and better fitting human job description on this planet.

Bob, I am so much in agreement with you.
Commercialism often wins over religions and replaces them, that's the reality of our life.
I would simply phrase it differently. The desire to receive for self alone is destroying our Earth and our
relationships with sacred others and Creator. We must learn to receive to share. Then there will be
plenty for everyone, humans and animals alike. If we do not learn this lesson, to receive to share, we will destroy ourselves,.
It is my opinion that religion is the greatest barrier to relationship with Creator by whatever name. G-D, as Jews and Christians understand him, Yah, as I call him, drafted up a religion with the meticulous attention to detail which is so well expressed in his creations: nations, planets, atoms. He is a perfectinist and delights in details. The Jewish people, not realizing what they were in for, agreed to the laws. Shariah law is quite similar to the Old Testament law which didn't work and which Christians believe was replaced with the spirit of love and compassion and respect for others and for Creator.
Yahshua (Jesus) continuously communicated that it is not the letter of the law but the spirit that maketh alive.
The elaborate rules outlined by Yah which the Jewish people tried to keep left out relationship. It's relationship that Creator wants with us......a love relationship. At the same time he wants to be GOD!!!
He wants to be the leader, the boss. I think he has a right to be God.
What does Creator want from us: thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all your heart, your mind and your strength and to love your neighbor as yourself.
If he can't get the love, He, like the rest of us, will settle for respect.
Muslims give him respect.
Too many "Christians" and "Jews" give him neither love nor respect. NOT ALL....some are as devoted to Creator, as they understand him, as the Muslims are to Creator, as they understand him. There are many devout Christians and many devout Jews and many devout Muslims and many devout (other religions).
It just concerns me that when the society of Islam gives Creator respect
Society of America (once God's people, yet, not entirely) kick him out of the schools and the courts and, as in my case, out of the "help lines" such as WarmLine and Crisis line. (My company had to buy $1,000 worth of iinsurance in case one of our people mentioned the name Jesus or any religion. I was a supervisor. I would have to report anyone who did so. I quit.) when we kick Creator out and the Muslims center their society around Creator......,..,.well, it scares me!

CORRECTION: Love was included in the elaborate laws given by Creator to the Jewish people. Sorry about my mistake. Actually, it breaks my heart that Creator needs to command us to love him. He's a
good God. Loving one another is also commanded,.
It's the greed for power and money that makes so many suicidal foolS.....in my opinion.
