You might have seen this photo before somewhere in the internet. A heartbreaking photo of a kitten begging to be saved while hugging a man's boot, but most of us dont know what happened to the kitty. Now we found the answer and story behind it. Read more.

I shouldn't have clicked onto this story. I knew it it would not end happily.

God that was so depressing...and all the pics of this poor sweet tiny kitten were heartbreaking. Poverty and misery is NEVER an excuse 4 cruelty and a lack of compassion toward any living thing---especially an innocent animal in need. Thx Rea

I would have tried to bring her home with me! I understand the problems over there (somewhat), but it still makes me angry. I just want to cry every time I see her picture.

Yes...now I'm bummed out the rest of the afternoon, knowing that this little baby cried, and mourned over not being saved. Gosh, I'd of stuck the little baby in my pocket, and walked on, and brought him/her home with me.!! Thank you, Rea for this.

I'm sorry if this story made you sad, I also felt the same but I hope that sharing this will stop other people to keep think of excuses and that animals are just animals. I would like them to realize that they are also living beings that need our help.

Sadly ,I think this story might make people think what they did in the story. "Let nature takes it's course". I'm afraid others will think that . Too many people come up to me and say put down those starys or Ok i guess nature will takes it's course. They do not help me.

Rea's reason for posting was to show this is terribly sad and simply wrong. YOU DON'T NOT HELP!!!

Rea ,I don't mean to make you feal bad. So many people in this worl don't care and with cats they just say oh well it's only an animal. Every person that comes up to me that says that gets one harsh warning now. They say again too.... I get so mad.

That little kitten was begging and showing love .Went right up to that man or soldier with a big heavy boot.

I didn't even notice other comments here. Now I see AniMaeChi's above.
