Here in Ontario we don't have milk jugs anymore. Our milk comes in bags. Environmentally friendly....somewhat I guess. In the old days, in Germany, we used to go to the Milkman store with our milk can and fill'er up. That's environmentally friendly!!! Wish we could do so again.
