How about you post the cost of Dubya vacations while he was running our country into the trillions in debts...with two wars going that he started. That A-Hole duffus took more vacations and cost the tax payers for those than any president in History. Obama would have to take one every few days to catch up with Dubya record.

I don't think many would question time off with the family, vacation in Chicago, Camp David, etc. The problem is the cost! Many American's can't afford a small vacation to visit family.

Where was the public outcry when Bush took a 3 month vacation as soon as he was sworn in? Where was the public outcry when hr repeated his series of very long vacations throughout his presidency?

Right now, Washington is on their scheduled vacations, so what is the president going to do with Congress and the Senate both on Summer break. If you don't know how things work, then don't complain about it.

Just because the President goes on vacation, does not mean he stops being President. He is President 24 hours a day, until the end of his term. If anything happens while he is away from Washington, he will be notified as quickly on vacation. Martha's Vineyard will become White House East. Just like when Bush was President his ranch became the TX White House.

Well lets start with the fact that even after 9/11 and with the impending economic disaster BUSH SPENT JUST OVER 30%, YES 1 IN 3 DAYS, ON VACATION, and you can add to that the fact that Boehner and the Repug/Tea Bagged majority in the US House gave themselves one in every three weeks off, which does amount to an illegal raise, added to the fact that they have only passed 12 pieces of legislation, 4 of which are anti-abortion and NONE of which does a damn thing to create a single job.
