This new map and animation of current south polar ice-melt in motion provides access and traces a region that has been previously hard to see. Offering a new and powerful tool toward the study of polar dynamics in the south seas!

GlobalWarming HOW CAN PEOPLE STILL DENY A GLOBAL CLIMATE CHANGE????????????
AERIAL VIEWS OF GLACIERS or ARCTIC COMPARED WITH THOSE of 10 or also 5 years ago
ARE CLEAR and UNDENIABLE EVIDENCE OF GLOBAL WARMING!!!!!!!!!!!!
WHILE WE ARE HERE COMMENTING, only in BORNEO 300 FOOTBALL FIELDS of RAINFORESTS EVERY SINGLE HOUR ARE BURNED to make way for PALM OIL PLANTATIONS. THIS MEANS FURTHER CO2 EMISSIONS ADDING to an already critical condition............
I SAID ONLY in BORNEO...... but WHAT ABOUT THE AMAZONIAN RAINFORESTS and CAMEROON RAINFORESTS??? Just to make some examples?????

Thanks, noted. People don't deny climate change is happening, they deny how much of the impact is man made. But that does not support stupidity in using resources carelessly.

Global Warming has been happening for a long time now. . .yes. . .you can say for years. The issue has been to try to get the "message" across to the general public. . .as well as other countries that seem to be in denial for this entire time. . .it's their stupidity and stubbornness for being this way. . .

This is most interesting. Yesterday, it gladly surprised me to find the issue of global warming addressed in a modern chemistry book. At least that shows concern.

Global warming, while it really is happening, is part of a cycle that has little-to-nothing to do with human activity.

Mychael Lee is correct "Global warming, while it really is happening, is part of a cycle that has little-to-nothing to do with human activity". What this article is talking about is the continental ice. The ice accumulation in the Antarctic is moving West. The ice conditions on the continent are reflecting this ice movement. The total ice on earth is remaining constant, or growing. This also from NASA. Learn about global warming and you can escape from the CO2 global warming scam. Also from NASA, the total earth temperature has changed only 1.3 degrees F in the past 30 years. The ocean has only risen in response to the 1.3 degree temperature change. Global warming caused by CO2 emissions is a political scam costing trillions of dollars and jobs we do not have.

Quite, Michela. How can they still deny it? They are in some sort of self-denial. I think they know very well what is going on, but expect to have "popped their clogs" before it hits them. So these people not have any children or grandchildren? Do they not care about them?

noted. Global warming has been going on for a long time, although some people don't beleive it.

noted with thanks Mindy, how anyone can deny it when the evidence is glaringly apparent is beyond me!

Rather frightening. As Michela asks, how can people remain in self-denial of what we are doing? Probably because they are only interested in instant self-gratification by way of financial profits. Also ordinary people may just be too frightened to admit it to themselves. Perhaps they think if they deny it and do not admit it, then it will not happen. Like the man who jumps off the top floor od the Empire State Building; as he plummets Earthwards, he says to himself, "So far, so good, I'm ok."
