Some 73% of Americans say the country is heading in the wrong direction, a level of pessimism not seen since late 2008. Nearly 44% now say they will vote Republican in 2012. Many different polls are now reflecting nearly this exact same general opinion.

The truth is out there and incomprehensible!

It took decades of administrations enveloped by arrogance and greed to create the 14 million trapped in massive U.S. unemployment.

It's now on congress, but Obama has not produced real job legislation either!

The Department of Labor has released its ugly unemployment facts and figures today 09.02.11, and it confirms stagnation in any U.S. economic recovery.

Some analysts are also going public today and stating that another Recession has now become inevitable.

noted. With the way this country has been going, I think most people knew another recession was coming. Actually, we're not out of this one! As far as the green party is concerned, I think Ron Paul started that movement. Pls. correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks!

Thanks Mindy. If I had your email address I could send you some interesting motivational posters that we received today. Cracks me up.

As to the Greens, I would like to see their plans in some detail. Obama is too little too late and insuffcient to do any good. Same failed economic plan. When it didn't work the first time, you would think that they would figure out that repackaging won't make it work any better.

Here are a few priorities for the party I would vote for: If you agree send them to your candidate of choice or modify them as you feel best. The point is that we need to propose alternatives to what's happening and stop simply name calling and bitching..

Get the United States out of Afghanistan now. We cannot afford expensive wars, nor do we have to be the world's policeman.

Renounce all of the free trade treaties with China and all the "sweatshop countries." Stop foreign poaching of U.S. patents and jobs.

Impose import duties on all products from China and other "sweatshop countries" to a level 30 percent above what it costs to have these products made in America; those duties would be levied in a manner that cannot be passed on to consumers directly or indirectly. (Force manufacturing back to U.S. soil with wage taxes paid to U.S. treasury instead of cash hemorrhage to foreign sweatshops.)

Impose outsourcing taxes on all outsourced jobs since 1986 (the year of President Ronald Reagan's "tax reform" bill). Outsourcing taxes will be levied in a manner that cannot be passed on to consumers directly or indirectly. The IRS can determine the extent and damage done by outsourcing by auditing corporate W-2 payroll submissions year by year, back to 1986.

Impose graduated increasing surtax rates on incomes equal to or greater than $250,000 per year. Earners in this group directly or indirectly advised or making decisions to wreck the U.S. economy by outsourcing American jobs, importing inferior quality "sweatshop"-made products, lobbying or approving free trade treaties and so on, ultimately causing a cash hemorrhage from the United States to "sweatshop" countries and the high U.S. unemployment rate.

Follow the example of Canada by requiring a high percentage of American-made products on store shelves.

If the American economy is to be fixed, America has to put its own interests first. The "global economy" is synonymous with lost American jobs and the U.S. depression of 2008, which lingers on today

I really do not think the voter discontent is related to the job plan. It is related to the wealthy not paying taxes.

So no Obama means we get another 8 years of some corporate Republican lacky.
THE GREEN PARTY? Really just what southern or plain or mountain states will even let them on the ballot.
Did you forget the President and Vice President canidates from 2008?There isn't anyone famous or strong enough to run on a Green Party ticket. And lets not forget there are no Green Reps. or Senators in DC now,so where would any green president get any votes to pass anything? THE PEOPLE?Forget it The people just barely make it out to vote ,nevermindd bager their Representatiive to do anything.
So reelect President Obama?/ Not me! I ready to give the corporations this country. Perhpps then the citizens will start doing what they should have way back in Reagans time Making the people elected do what they asked them to do. You realize Pink Mindy If Obama loses big The Republicans will have real large majorities in Congress. Last you really want to do something Vote with your pocketbook. Don't buy annything new. get rid oof as many credit cards as you can.Let who ever Representts you know youu are on his or her case. Phone calls ,petitions,go to their local meetings. Get as many people as you can to do the same.

Unfortunately the 2012 election has now become an open and even playing field at the moment, since Obama's pen somehow got stuck in his ink-well during the past 2 1/2 years, because we have seen virtually ZERO viable job legislation coming from his pen!

... All of the sneak previews concerning this NEW Obama Jobs Plan is appearing to be nothing more than a useless exercise in too little - too late window-dressing for His gullible 2012 re-election voters!

What a lovely mess this country is in!!!!! no jobs and the wealthy pay no taxes along with oil, gas prices and food out of sight!!!!!! How in heavens can Obama's % not be lower???? He should be at rock bottom by this point, esp. with all those vactions him and his wife have taken!!!!!!!!!

There are those who will attempt to throw mud all over the facts, but they cannot ultimately extinguish the truth!

The once muscular and robust Obama presidency has now undergone a dramatic downsizing.

Three polls on Tuesday revealed he is quickly losing core support and even the dwindling Obama die-hards are beginning to question his limited abilities.

Don't just tell me to vote for Obama ... Convince me why I and others should do so!

We must review ALL of the facts and we must know the whole truth and not just half-truths before making a rational 2012 election decision!

If we go around wearing 'rose colored glasses', then how can we ever make the right choice???

I myself will either vote Third Party or else exercise my right to not vote at all, but I refuse to just vote for Obama because a few Care2 bullies 'try' to force me to!!!

It's my decision too, you know!

Post any and all counter-evidence here or on the main site comment line, in order to prove beyond a shadow of doubt that President Barack Obama deserves another 4 More Years in the highest office of the land. NO Republicanophobia or Anti-Social Racism!

Unemployment is escalating all over the globe and many jobs are 'lost' due to outsourcing, even here in SA - does not make me wonder where it's going! Americans need to wake up before it's too late - and make your vote COUNT in 2012!!
