Of course this article will only be verbally attacked by opinionated hardcore Liberals and their hardcore Democrat counter-parts, but that is to be expected, because they are deathly afraid of the negative impact that this webpage is having upon Election 2012.

However, everyone should have a right to harbor their own personal opinion on this comment line.

Just remember that name-calling and insulting personal abuse is in no way acceptable in the absence of mainstream counter-evidence to disprove any information contained on the presented webpage.

There is far more existing mainstream evidence across the Internet to substantiate President Obama as being an Epic Failure, than there is to prove the complete opposite!!!

In keeping with having a minority president
in the next election we find/look/for an all
American Native indian.
What America needs is a president who is home
grown to the land & the country he belongs too.

Native American indians are home grown people
who deserve to be see & heard from all Americans
I'm positive America will go wild & dedicated to
honoring a Native American indian as our president
without it being rigged as in the last election.

There is no doubt in this writers mind America would
be proud & at last honored to have a Native American
indian qualified to sit in the Oval office upon the
land that once was all theirs before it was brutally
taken away from them!!!!!!

Wherever you are there once was a forest.
Plant & protect Danny's trees for life.
Trees are the lungs of the eaerth.

AMERICA IS SLEEPWALKING INTO AN ABYSS OF NO RETURN!!!

Most of the mainstream media is still unjustifiably protecting President Obama by twisting, candy-coating and cherry-picking through the presidential facts of our daily news content, in order to obtain their goals and to further fulfill their questionable multifaceted agendas.

"We The People" are constantly being safely kept outside of this operating inner-loop, being left outside only to scratch our heads in wonder as to what is 'really' going on behind those closed doors of our perpetually gridlocked White House.

Many negative reports have been recorded coming out of the White House by leading authors and researchers of late, but only to be immediately attacked and prematurely dismissed by the mainstream press.

Obama = 1% Rich Elite and does not really care about the 99% being left out to dry, because the very proof is in President Obama's waste of time in public office and then smiling for his precious re-election photo-ops ...

All the while turning his back on the American public by shifting nearly all of his efforts and resources toward Campaign 2012 ...

However it's always about the cover-up within his sordid administration and he has to at least 'look like' he is trying to accomplish something (ie: Gridlocked & Stagnate Obama)!!

Most American citizens are sick and tired of the mainstream press candy-coating and polishing the Obama and his administration in our daily news, because it's just not honest journalism!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is extremely easy to polish a Lobbyist & Special Interest Group A$$ Ki$$er like President Obama ...

I can think of a number of reasons why people voted for Obama. At the top of the list for many was their hatred of George Bush which continues. What I CANNOT understand is how people still support Obama. Sure we are all entitled to our own opinions but, but NOT our own facts. Any Obama supporter who wishes to list Obama" s positive accomplishments that did not or will not hurt the country please do so.

Sometimes I just cannot help but think that George W. Bush is still in office by the way Obama acts; especially when he is running the Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld wartime playbooks right down the line.

Americans entering the Food Stamp Program is rapidly escalating ... Thanks to failed policies via Barack Obama!!!

Stimulus 1 & Stimulus 2 rather than creating jobs back in mid-2009 as was recommended to the White House, which they totally ignored ... And that recommendation was for 2+ million PERMANENT jobs ... NOT Temporary holiday employment either!

Looks like a photo of Obama standing on the wreckage and vast wasteland created by BushCo saying..."Now where do I start?" . Anyone knows that after a devastating financial fiasco like the one created by BushCo, takes at least twice as long to clean up. Bush put devastating laws, corrupt judges, etc. in place that are still in place. And to mention the utterly corrupted conservative Supreme Court "justices" who declared unconstitutional laws of the land...Like Citizens United. Pamela W. Obama was not elected as our president!!
Obama was "picked" among a hand full of black political
sombodies to appease blacks & make them sense & feel they
were being represented in this government.

In other words it was a rigged set up to appease as opposed
to electing who could get this country on track.
I dare say looking for & selecting a 100% full blooded Native
American indian should be scoured for without all the behind
closed doors rigging as is what happened with Obama.

And I'm sure no Native American indian could possibly touch
Obama with innuendo's & rumors that has dogged him since his
first day in office.
My heart would pound to see this happen in my lifetime of an
American indian being openly chosen as our president. And have
a first lady who would be dignified & graceful in all her endeavors.

Yep......We need to elect a Native American indian to be proud of
being at the top in his own land & not be on a reservation!!!!!

Wherever you live there once was a forest.
Plant & protect Danny's trees for life.

Bette M: There would be more problems by having an American Indian as president. You think that the right has gone overboard with Obama, a Native would dwarf the problems we have seen since the Republicans have lost in 2008. I know what I speak.

Natives born on a reservation are not Americans as reservations are sovereign nations, separate from the rest of country. For those born on or off the reservation, you will run into the "blood quantum" thing. For those who do not know what that is, it is a nightmare in a nutshell. It is the "how much Indian blood" do you have syndrome. Are you 100% Native blood, 87 1/2, 75% ,50%, 6. 1/4 % Native blood. Then will they ask the candidate from Indian country to produce their Indian numbers from the rolls like the Dawes Rolls? And you parents numbers, all grandparents and other family members for generations back for several hundred years. Also the Native people still are property of the Department of the Interior, handed over to that dept from the War Department as they didn't know what to do with them. They are technically POW's in America. Talk to the elders on the reservations

I and a friend were with another Native person who drug out books upon books of all of the numbers that governments have made her family have to prove they are of Native blood. My friend with me and I looked at each other and we talked later about how "creepy" this whole practice of branding Native peoples above and beyond that of "regular people" to the point that the branding of the Jewish people by Hitler was like a false identification card*.

I wish for a day when people will be accepted for who and what they are. I am not holding my breath.

* I have 25% Native blood and my daughter is 1/2 Jewish and I mean no offense for the comparison, it is the only thing I can think of that comes close to how all the number thing made us feel about this tacking thing the government imposes upon the Native Peoples. I had one person ask me how much Indian blood I had-this happens more often than many people would think and we are the only race this is done to-the next sentence the man said to me was, I probably should not have asked that.

Deborah L. (70)
Tuesday January 17, 2012, 8:25 pm
con't.

Republicans/GOP/ T.P.er's would never allow allow an American Indian to run for office. Then you also would have the Natives who have married and had children with Canadian Natives in the "blood mix" to further complicate this. It would be appropriate but I don't see it ever happening.

Obama is standing in front of the current picture of New Orleans after the clean up and rebuilding done by the Bush Administration since Hurricane Katrina happened on his watch.

Well, Well, little Ms. Faded Reagan Red with her full blown Obama Derangement Syndrome a big bag of cow pasture fertilizer Repug/Tea Bagged Corporate toady talking points.
How about we start with the pure bullshit coming out of Newt the Corporatist Any President who was not interested in seeing just how many American children, women and men he could starve to death would have to be the Biggest Food Stamp President since the Great Depression if they followed the Repugnican/Bush economic disaster. Considering that the Repug Senate filibuster, for three years, combined with the 2011 House o'Tea Baggers who have been in full opposition mode since Obama was elected and only do those things that they hope will give them political advantage in 2012 have publicly made it know that defeating Obama is their top priority, Mindy's fevered fantasy, they have refused to participate in any form of actual governing for the common good of Americans or the American economy. Pissing on the Middle Class and Poor economics, aka Trickle Down, does not work and never has, every time the rich "job Creators" get more money they have reduced the number of American jobs in America for Americans. Every time the so called fiscal conservatives, since Eisenhower, have been given control of the US Government they have increased the size of the government, like wanting to a government agent and an IRS agent in every fertile uterus, they have increased the cost of government( like Ron Paul using $50,000 of tax payer money for first class flights that should have cost $24,000 and some of them for his political campaign) and lowered the governments income all of it off the books and on credit. No Child Left Behind was never paid for, Medicare Part D was designed to profit the drug companies and never paid for, $6+ Billion goes from the USPS to the government $5 Billion is to pay medical and retirement 75 years in the future but nothing like it is done to cover the lifetime insurance subsidies for present and former members of Congress or their retirement.

Like those Faux followers... And Murdoch's ties to Wall Street through the Wall Street Journal. We see how their quality has gone down and become more biased under Murdoch... Na, no conflict of interest there.

PinkMindy Ellinwood (567)
Thursday January 19, 2012, 4:21 am

And I Quote:

Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein congratulated climate change activists for forcing the Obama administration to back away from quick approval of the controversial Keystone XL pipeline.

This is a positive step, a reprieve won through activism and political pressure.

Only six weeks ago it was clear that the Obama administration was willing to open the door to a measure that spelled climate disaster.

What changed was not a sudden outbreak of environmental concern in the administration, but what they all but admit is a political calculation that pipeline approval would cost the President votes if announced before the presidential election.

One way to keep the pressure on the White House into 2013 is to build the Green Party as a political alternative in 2012." ..........

~ End Quote ~

*Click below to Read More:

"Climate victory on Keystone Pipeline requires continued green pressure through 2012 and beyond" @ Green Party's Jill Stein for U.S. President 2012

Remember, it's an election year and President Obama will do anything, say anything and most definitely promise you anything in order to get your vote, because that's all he is seeking at this moment!!

So don't be fooled by President Obama's all-of-a-sudden 'good behavior' and his feeble attempts to look good in the eyes of the American public.

John Gregoire (255)
Thursday January 19, 2012, 4:25 am
Kenneth,

You just got had. Obama is playing poliyics with XL. If he wanted to do something positive for our environment he should have cancelled the pipeline project in its entirety.

What he did was end run the republican and legal mandate to make a decision within two months. So, he simply tossed it back at them. Worse, he very specifically told them that they could rea-apply. Now that effectively pushed it off until after the eletion -just whay he wanted. The XL pipeling and his winpy approach to decision making will bury him in this election. One would have to be blind to continue to support him. As the tittle says -end of an error.

You might also want to know that all this is smoke and mirrors at the WH as the Keystone people are working a re-routing plan that wouldn't have been ready until after the elction anyway.

Sad prediction: If Obama wins, he will approve XL shortly thereafter. At that point all you Obama supporters can feel bad and find something else to pontificate about. wake up and dump this guy now as he is no friend of the environment.

That's just your opinion John. Please tell it to essentially every single conservation organization in the U.S. They are rejoicing at this moment. I suppose none of them know what they're talking about or can see as much as you can, even though they've been at it for decades.
Actually Obama is a friend of the environment where he is a friend of the environment and he is in various ways in various issues. And isn't where he isn't. Same with any leader.
Don't get too misled by Mind(y)less. Because you'll end up crapping on ANYTHING Obama does, anytime, anywhere, anyhow, as fatalistic. BS.

'so don't you even think for a moment...'----oh so the Mind(y)less one who blows loud and hard about free thought is TELLING everyone what to think.

As for SOPA/PIPA this is what the Obama administration said: “While we believe that online piracy by foreign websites is a serious problem that requires a serious legislative response, we will not support legislation that reduces freedom of expression, increases cybersecurity risk, or undermines the dynamic, innovative global Internet…."
They have seriously slowed down and stalled the progress of these two bills.
I don't have time to waste hunting down and correcting all your false statements.

It is very sad how the Greedy Obstructionist Party has done their best to say NO to everything positive Obama has tried to implement, and how they are dead set on grid locking our government at all costs, even if it destroys our country in their attempt to destroy Obama.

Updated: H/T Newmericans

Here is the updated list of what I judge to be Obama’s most significant accomplishments in the less than 2 years since he was elected as President of the United States: As you read through this list, I ask you to weigh the totality of these achievements listed below against those accomplishments of Obama’s presidential predecessors, Democrats and Republicans, and then, after considering this, make your determination of whether you think he has done a good job.

1. Appointing two Supreme Court Justices: When people consider their presidential voting decision, most don’t consider that amongst the most important and enduring presidential responsibilities is the president’s ability to appoint supreme court justices. This is arguably a president’s biggest opportunity to influence his country, because Supreme Court justices sit until they retire or pass away, so the impact of his decision generally will last many decades beyond his years as president. Obama has been fortunate enough to have two Supreme Court Justices retire in his first few years in office and he has managed to secure both of his nominations through wise selection and political skill. He has added two Democrats, replacing two moderate Democrats in the process. If a Republican has won the presidency instead, we would now be looking at an unbalanced Supreme Court with six conservatives and only three liberal judges – a balance that would have been in place for many many decades. In the appointment process, Obama also introduced needed diversity to the bench with two more women on the court, bringing the count to a record three women sitting, while also introducing the nation’s first Hispanic to the Supreme Court with his choice of Sotomayor.

2. Passing Universal Healthcare: Obama accomplished what no prior Democrat could in expanding coverage to 32 million more Americans while simultaneously reducing the deficit by an estimated $1.3 trillion over the next 20 years. It delivers on every provision of the Patient Bill of Rights that Bill Clinton unsuccessfully tried to get passed, including making it illegal to deny coverage for people with pre-existing conditions and capping out of pocket expenses when people get sick (so people don’t go in to bankruptcy after getting ill). It helps shift our medical system’s focus to preventative care by covering the cost of early warning tests so our doctors find diseases before they are too advanced - avoiding larger medical expenses down the road and requires the largest and richest American companies to provides insurance for all their employees. It attempts to lower health care costs by forcing all Americans to have medical insurance and pay their fair share so the system is more efficient – similar to how all Americans need to have car insurance – while providing tax credits to help the poor and small businesses afford this coverage. It increases competition by creating marketplace exchanges to make it easier for small businesses and those without insurance to shop and compare plans. It funds co-ops who can offer competitive insurance plans and provide further competition for insurance companies. It allows insurance companies to offer plans across state borders further increasing the supply of competitive plans. It provides funding, infrastructure, and support to automate, digitize, and unify the country’s outdated medical information system reducing system-wide costs, improving care, and increasing productivity. Perhaps most importantly, it sets up an independent commission of doctors and medical experts to identify and root out medical system waste, fraud, and abuse and includes many pieces of reform that will reduce the most wasteful medical system practices.

3. Financial industry reform: The most sweeping financial industry reform legislation since the Great Depression, this legislation tries to correct those industry issues that helped create the current recession we are still digging outselves out of. It provides a system to allow the government to break apart large financial institutions that threaten the economy, creates a council of federal regulators to coordinate the detection of risks to the financial system, subjects a wider range of financial companies to government oversight, creates a Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection to help protect citizens from unscrupulous practices, and reins in banks’ ability to trade in risky financial instruments such as credit derivatives.

4. Preventing a 2nd Great Depression: While preventing a depression is not sexy and certainly is reactive, history may say that this is still one of his most important accomplishment to date. The vast majority of economists and experts say that the nation had a high chance of slipping in to a Depression had this stimulus not passed along with the innovative actions of the Fed. Obama has worked with Bernanke and the Fed, put a team of some of the best economic minds around him, helped save America’s 3 major car manufacturers from going out of business, passed the largest economic Stimulus Bill in the nation’s history, and executed other legislative changes to keep liquidity flowing in our economy, save jobs that would have otherwise been lost, and fund areas of our economy that are strategic and important for our long term economic competitiveness including health care, education, green energy, science, and infrastructure.

Of course, critics will say that the economy today is still sputtering, holds some risk of sliding back in to a recession, and that a real recovery will take many years. These are all true statements and Obama has not moved us from a possible Depression to a fast growing economy – but this is a completely unrealistic, almost childish, expectation given the severity of the financial crisis, our current debt, and other economic realities that we have to deal with. Could he have done more or done it differently? Certainly. I would have loved to see Obama do more, faster to invest in small businesses, help them get loans, and help them become more competitive with the large corporations that increasingly dominate our economy. But today we are not in a horrible depression and things are stable and this alone is a tremendous accomplishment.

5. Bringing the war in Iraq to an end: Obama has reduced troops from a peak of 170,000 down to 50,000, with the remaining troops focused on training and recruiting Iraqi forces, rather than participating in combat. With this news, Obama delivered on a campaign promise he made while bringing to an end a misguided, expensive, and costly war which served no clear purpose. He also ensured that, in the process of wrapping up efforts in the region, he did so responsibly. Iraq is not in utter chaos as it once was at the peak of the insurgency and it stands a chance of having a reasonable future and being a reasonably stable Democratic state in the Middle East.

6. Passed legislation to curb greenhouse gases and improve the environment: Obama implemented new regulations on power plants, factories, and oil refineries to limit greenhouse gas emissions and curb global warming, required energy producing plants to produce 15% of their energy from renewable sources, allowed states to enact federal fuel efficiency standards above federal standards, increased, for the first time in more than a decade, the fuel economy standards for Model Year 2011 for cars and trucks, funded investment in clean energy technologies through a combination of spending and tax breaks, signed an omnibus public lands bill, which allows for 2 million more acres to be declared wilderness, and issued a Presidential Memorandum to the Department of Energy to implement more aggressive efficiency standards for common household appliances, like dishwashers and refrigerators, which, over the next three decades, will save twice the amount of energy produced by all the coal-fired power plants in America in any given year.

7. Nuclear non-proliferation agreement: Obama met with 47 presidents in a 3 day nuclear summit to lower the nuclear weapons count with a treaty signed between US and Russia, putting the world back on a path to reducing nuclear warheads.

8. Repairing Our Image Abroad: After 8 years of damage to our country’s image, Obama has helped repair badly damaged relationships with foreign powers across the world from Russia to Europe and reached out to the Arab world. This is necessary and critical in order for the most influential countries to work together to fight challenges such as Global Warming and Nuclear expansion. It also helps to fight terrorist recruiting by helping change America’s negative image. It is increasingly important for the US to engage with other countries as fast-growing nations like Brazil, China, and India join the traditional powerhouses and as America adjusts to a world with more diverse and influential players in the political equation.

9. Lifted Bush restrictions on embryonic stem cell research: Obama provided federal support for stem-cell and new biomedical research, helping make it easier for scientists to find cures for our most dangerous diseases.

10. Reversed George W. Bush’s ban on federal funding to foreign organizations that allow abortions.

11. Implemented education reforms: Made higher college more accessible and affordable through significant increases in scholarships and funding, funded early learning programs, and, most importantly, through an innovative program called Race to the Top, spurred reforms in state and local district K-12 education by providing states with incentives to make positive changes to their education systems. Race to the Top prompted 48 states to adopt common standards for K-12. Some notable changes prompted by the program include Illinois lifting a cap on the number of charter schools it allows, Massachusetts making it easier for students in low-performing schools to switch to charters, and West Virginia proposing a merit pay system that includes student achievement in its compensation calculations.

12. Tobacco regulation. On June 22, 2009, Obama signed the Family Smoking Prevention and Tobacco Control Act, which, for the first time, gave the U.S. Food & Drug Administration the authority to regulate the manufacturing, marketing, and sale of tobacco.

Whereas my last assessment, made 8 months ago, on what Obama had done in office was subdued (”has not blown anyone over by his administrative record to date. His most significant accomplishment, while a job well done, was primarily a reaction to the economic environment handed to him while his other accomplishments are relatively tactical.”), my conclusion today is completely different. The list of his accomplishments are staggering for any US president – particularly when you compare him against our more recent US presidents. Try to come up with a list of positive accomplishments by Clinton or both Bush presidents over their entire tenures and you won’t be able to count them on one hand. Meanwhile, in less than 2 years, Obama has done what most had said was politically impossible and absolutely essential for us to maintain a competitive economy in the future (Universal health care), tackled highly challenging and comprehensive economic reforms (Financial industry reform), and stabilized a very troubling economy.

After all of these achievements, it will be interesting to see what else Obama can get done over the next few years of his first term. Even if he did not achieve anymore legislative accomplishments during the remainder of his tenure, Obama will have had one of the most productive terms of any president in the history of our country.

With the flick of a pen, President Obama signs a bill today that paves the way for the first major overhaul of the food safety system in the United States in nearly a century.

The bill, passed by Congress late last year, gives the Food and Drug Administration new authority to recall tainted food and step-up inspections of food processing facilities.

It exempts farms and producers making $500,000 or year or less but will require larger manufacturers to enact food safety plans and includes measures to increase the safety of food imports, which account for one-sixth of the nation’s food supply.

We Can’t Wait: Obama Administration Takes Action to Reduce Prescription Drug Shortages, Fight Price Gouging

President Issues Executive Order, Backs Legislation to Require Drug Companies to Report Shortages

President Obama today will sign an Executive Order directing the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to take action to help further prevent and reduce prescription drug shortages, protect consumers and prevent price gouging. The President’s order directs FDA to broaden reporting of potential shortages of certain prescription drugs and to further expedite regulatory reviews that can help prevent or respond to shortages. Under the President’s order, FDA will also work with to the Department of Justice, which will examine whether potential shortages have led to illegal price gouging or stockpiling of life-saving medications.

In addition to signing the Executive Order, the White House announced the President’s support for bipartisan legislation (H.R. 2245 and S. 296) that will build on today’s actions to strengthen the FDA’s ability to prevent prescription drug shortages.

Iraq War: Last US Troops Leave Country

Huffington Post

KHABARI CROSSING, Kuwait — The last U.S. soldiers rolled out of Iraq across the border to neighboring Kuwait at daybreak Sunday, whooping, fist bumping and hugging each other in a burst of joy and relief. Their exit marked the end of a bitterly divisive war that raged for nearly nine years and left Iraq shattered, with troubling questions lingering over whether the Arab nation will remain a steadfast U.S. ally.

Kuwaiti and U.S. soldiers close the border gate after the last vehicle crossed into Kuwait during the US miltary’s withdrawal from Iraq December 18, 2011. The last convoy of U.S. soldiers pulled out of Iraq on Sunday, ending nearly nine years of war that cost almost 4,500 American and tens of thousands of Iraqi lives.

President Obama: Extending Payroll Tax Cut Is a “Boost We Need Right Now”
President Obama today signed into law a two month extension of the payroll tax cut, which means that 160 million American workers will not see their paychecks shrink starting Jan 1, 2012. The President thanked Congress for ending the stalemate and urged them to keep working to reach an agreement that extends this tax cut as well as unemployment insurance through all of 2012, saying it is the right thing to do for American families and for the economy, and called it “a boost that we very much need right now.”

The extension came after tens of thousands of working Americans turned to the internet to let politicians in Washington know just how much they were relying on that tax break, which amounts to about $40 per paycheck for a family making $50,000 a year, and the President acknowledged just how valuable their contributions had been to the conversation happening in the Capital:

The Media is more than moderately biased, half the information that it showed here has never reached news networks such as CNN and Fox News. The American people are being misinformed about President Barack Obama and because of that, they are not able to carry on a factual argument about President Obama. He has done a superb job as President of America, and he has surely done more “positive” and “beneficial” things than former President Bush. Im a 12 year old Canadian by the way. Therefore this is just my views and the majority of my people(s) views.

Why is it so many people seem to find the negative about President Obama and Fail to see the More Good he has done in his few years than for example,Our Past 8 year President. Not only the last 8 years but years prior. I too wish he had the Power to Snap his fingers and Please all the people all the time but not possible. I do see President Obama being Smart, Compassionate and Caring about All People no matter what Race, Creed or Color.

If the GOP were willing to work with Obama….even 1/2 of the time…we would surely be much closer to the end of this recession and our unemployment numbers would be several percentage points lower.
Their failure to cooperate is especially galling since it was the GOP that got us into this mess. They are a shameful bunch of treasonous snakes.
Imagine how awful our situation would be were it not for Obama…the brightest man in the Oval Office since JFK!

KILLED OSAMA BIN LADEN, RAMPED UP CAMPAIGN AGAINST AL QAEDA

Obama’s policy: Soon after taking office, President Obama ordered then-CIA director Leon Panetta to “redouble” efforts to track down al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden. Just six months after 9/11, President Bush said of bin Laden, “I really just don’t spend much time on” bin Laden. In 2005, Bush shut down the CIA’s unit dedicated to tracking him because resources were needed to fight the war in Iraq. Nearly three years later, Obama ordered a Navy SEAL raid into bin Laden’s compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan, killing the al-Qaeda leader and obtaining troves of valuable intelligence on the terror network. Then-Secretary of Defense Robert Gates called President Obama’s decision to get bin Laden “one of the most courageous calls I’ve ever seen a president make.”

GOP’s response: The GOP refused to credit the Obama administration with planning and executing the raid and baselessly claimed the Bush administration’s torture program led to the killing of Bin Laden.

Outcome: Bin Laden’s death brought an end to a nearly decade long manhunt. No civilians or U.S. military personnel were killed. Indeed, as CAP’s Brian Katulis and Peter Juul note, “the Al Qaeda network over the past three years suffered its greatest losses since the United States and its allies evicted the terrorist organization from Afghanistan in 2001.”

MOBILIZED INT’L COALITION TO PROTECT LIBYAN PRO-DEMOCRACY DEMONSTRATORS

Obama’s policy: The Obama administration, led by Susan Rice at the United Nations, and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton at NATO, pulled together an international coalition to approve and successfully execute a no-fly zone over Libya to protect anti-Qaddafi rebels.

GOP’s response: Republicans parroted Qaddafi’s propaganda claiming that Al Qaeda was behind the rebel uprising. With Qaddafi’s death, Republicans again refused to credit Obama, mocked the White House for “leading from behind” and criticized the administration’s strategy for failing to use more U.S. air-power or putting American “boots on the ground.”

Outcome: In just seven months and spending only $1 billion, coalition forces helped the rebels successfully overthrow the Qaddafi regime on october 20, 2011.

ORDERED THE COMPLETE WITHDRAWAL OF U.S. FORCES FROM IRAQ BY END OF THE YEAR

Obama’s policy: Early in his presidency, Obama promised that U.S. troops would end combat missions by late summer 2010. Combat missions formally ended on August 31, 2010. On October 21, 2011, following Iraqi parliament’s unwillingness to support an extension of immunity for U.S. military personnel, Obama announced that all U.S. troops will be out of Iraq by the end of the year.

GOP’s response: Despite the fact President Bush signed an agreement to withdraw all U.S. troop from Iraq by 2012, Republicans called the decision an “astonishing failure” and claimed Obama “lost the war in Iraq.” Despite once hailing the agreement signed by the Bush administration outlining the process of U.S. troop withdrawal, Fred Kagan charged that “this retreat will have great costs for the United States.”

Outcome: The withdrawal of U.S. forces from Iraq brings an end to a costly and war, in both lives and treasure. The troop withdrawal will lower total U.S. government costs for operations in Iraq to $11 billion in 2012. A massive reduction from the $65.1 billion budgeted for Iraq in 2010.

ISOLATED AND WEAKENED IRAN

Obama’s policy: The Obama administration has worked to tighten and enforce sanctions against Iran and on June 9, 2010, the U.N. Security Council, at the Obama administration’s encouragement, passed a new round of multilateral sanctions. The following month, Obama signed the Comprehensive Iran Sanctions, Accountability, and Divestment Act of 2010 (CISADA) which, among other restrictions, banned Iranian-origin imports for items such as rugs, pistachios and caviar.

GOP’s response: The right wing continues to criticize Obama for failing to bring “crippling” — Iraq-style — sanctions against Iran or for not explicitly threatening military action. For example, while ignoring signs of progress in Obama’s pressure and containment strategy against Tehran, Mitt Romney inaccurately claimed that “our president has communicated in various subtle ways that there is not a military option that we would consider.”

Outcome: The IAEA reported recently that Iran is increasingly moving toward a weaponized program. But outside pressure has stalled and/or delayed progress. The Iranians have had difficulty in acquiring replacement parts for machines used to enrich uranium and damage from the Stuxnet computer virus — understood to have been developed as part of U.S. government program — led to a slowdown in program. Obama’s push on Iran at the United Nations has isolated the Islamic Republic internationally and the administration’s diplomats persuaded Russia and China to abstain from vetoing U.N. sanctions.

Thank you for posting this comprehensive, and impressive, listing. I call for Democrats to unite for the common good of the Party and for the good of this country. It is imperative Republicans are beat at their lying, deceiving, power-hungry quest for political dominance. Sorry, fellow Americans (referring to Republican followers), but your leadership is detrimental to the health of our nation and the future of our society. You are only good for providing a sense of checks and balances to our politics, but absolutely no good in positions of leadership. By the way, I am not a registered Democrat; rather an Independent. However, it is difficult to truly remain Independent when the Republican Party continues to spiral deeper and deeper in their little world of nonsense, deprecation and deception offering no political choice of significance. There … I said it, and I feel awesome!

Dan Stephens:
You should feel awesome. The accomplishments of our President….particularly in the area of foreign relations and his role as Commander In Chief…are enough to make anyone feel awesome—unless you are a republican!
In their comments about the situation in Libya, several notable GOP slugs made it a point to praise the French and English….but not a word about Obama. What childish imbeciles.
Anyway, I wanted mostly to say thanks for your excellent comments, the way you expressed your point of view, and for being of such stellar character and intelligence to clearly recognize the terrible nothingness of the GOP. These fools are simply incapable of leading….and to put our trust in them after the way they raped and pillaged America would be a sin.
I am a registered Democrat, and I see what damage the GOP has done and the sad promise of what they will do—-given the chance.
I will do everything in my power to see that Obama is re-elected. It is the only chance we have .

It is sad and shameful to watch TV on this special day that the people of Libya are finally free of the murderous tyrant that has all but destroyed their country….due in large part to the efforts and leadership of the Obama administration…as members of the GOP find various ways to praise the results…….but NOT MENTION OBAMA!
McCain, Gingrich, McConnel., Cheney (The War Criminal)…one yellow-bellied failure after another that just could NOT keep us safe….each refusing to acknowledge the FANTASTIC accomplishments of our EXCELLENT president!
I have come to the conclusion that America’s worst and most dangerous enemy is the GOP. The entire party is in a state of decay that absolutely reeks.
And the leadership of today’s GOP is made up of cowards, traitors, morons and slugs!
For those in doubt….witness the vote earlier today to DENY jobs to some 400,000 teachers and first responders. Such disloyalty MUST be paid for in November.

The republicans were in office during 911 which we are still feeling the effects of. It’s to soon to put them back in the white house. Maybe 2016. Good luck. Lester

I love your site and will start using the facts with my right wing nut job pals. Before I found this site I had sent an email to all of them that completely drove them nuts – facts which they just hate…
Despite Every Effort To Assure Obama Fails…

Downgrade & Debt Ceiling: Republicans set up the first debt ceiling debate in history. Never before did we need to argue about what had already been spent under previous presidents. The GOP voted 79 times to raise the debt ceiling without debate since 1960. Not a word when Reagan tripled the debt, or when Bush ran it up more than all presidents combined?

Unemployment – Thank God Obama Is President and Not Reagan, Bush, or any Republican! Presidents are inaugurated at the end of January so each President was rated on their first full month of presidency. Using official Bureau of Labor statistics for each president the numbers are…

Bush first month – unemployment rate 4.1% – when he left office the unemployment rate was 8.2% – Not fair you say because that is 8 years of numbers versus only the time Obama has been in office? OK – Obama has been in office 31 months. When he became president the unemployment rate in Feb/2009 was 8.2% – now it is 9.1% – a 10.9% jump in unemployment
Bush took office in February 2000 – the unemployment rate that month was 4.1% – in 31 months his unemployment rate was 6.0% – a 46% jump in unemployment.

In January 1980 when Reagan took office the unemployment rate was 6.3% – two years later the unemployment rate had increased 65% to 10.4% – if you compare where Reagan was to the exact same time Obama has been in office – 31 months – unemployment was up to 8.8% under Reagan – a 55.6% increase, versus Obama’s 10.9% increase.

Obama has already added more jobs to this economy in his first two and a half years than Bush did in eight. Under Bush we lost 2.6 million jobs in one year with his tax cuts for the rich / I mean “job creators” tax plan.

When Obama took office the country was losing 600,000 jobs for more than a quarter after he came in – last month we added 117,000 – not great but a +717,000 swing shouldn’t be called a failure – should it?

We Need Jobs – I Agree That’s Why You Must Vote Democrat: If you want private sector jobs you DOUBLE the job creation by making sure a Democrat is in the White House. Since 1944 there have been 5 democrat presidents and 6 republican presidents.

When a Democrat is in the White House the average job creation is 2,020,000 new jobs per year. When a Republican is in the White House average job creation is 989,500 new jobs per year.

Go back over 100 years and the trends never change – Democrats create DOUBLE the jobs

Obama Stimulus Package was a failure? Obama put in a stimulus package to stem the loss of jobs – the plan featured: $288 billion in tax cuts to individuals and businesses, $224 billion in unemployment benefits / aid to states and local governments, and $275 billion for job creation using federal contracts, grants and loans.

Every Republicans voted against the bill. Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) said he and the Republicans were in no rush to provide economic relief as they wanted to assure safeguards in the bill. McConnell, and the GOP had no problem passing President Bush’s Wall Street TARP bailout instantly, even though that package had NO oversight safeguards – in fact the bill banned Congress or anyone else from questioning how the money was spent.

McConnell led the fight to pass the TARP bill as fast as possible.

Google how many cities and states were able to keep on, or hire back teachers, police and firemen because of this stimulus bill.

The stated goal with the infrastructure and job creation stimulus money was to create between 900,000 and 2.3 million jobs – the Bureau of Labor statistics recently reported that we have added 2.4 million jobs in the last 17 months.

In March 2009, before the stimulus plan was launched, first quarter GDP was -6.4% and the Dow had slid to 6,500. By the fourth quarter 2009, GDP was +5% and the Dow had risen to 10,428.

The Stimulus helped small business owners by providing increased lending from the SBA and community banks, and also reduced capital gains tax for any small business investor.

Obama Deficit??

Obama is blamed for a national deficit that he largely had nothing to do with. The government runs a fiscal year that ends September 30th. All of the TARP money and every other failed Bush policy were added to Obama on October 1, 2009. The Wall Street bailout, loss of revenue due to job losses, Iraq and Afghanistan all were under Bush not Obama.

Want To Compare Something? Economists say the downgrade from S&P could cost us $58 billion in increased annual interest payments. What’s funny about that is there’s an emergency jobs plan to add 3 million $30,000 teacher aides nationally that’s being pushed by Democrats.com – those jobs would cost the government $58 Billion. Would the Republicans and Tea Baggers agree to add $58 Billion to create an instant 3 million jobs? Of course not but they have no problem causing the country to pay $58 Billion in more interest due to some trumped up debt ceiling debate!

Tax Cuts Create Jobs? Or as the GOP calls them “job creators” – 75% of CEO got raises last year and the average increase was 27%. The median pay was $1.1 million on average with the top firms averaging $9 million each. And one more thing – the average “bonus” was $2.2 Million – up 47% in one year.

Where did they get all that money for raises? In a recent USA Today research article the number one reason given by CEO’s and HR managers for increased pay to the CEO’s and executive staff was ‘job reductions resulting in more cash available”. I guess that’s part of the so called trickle down economics these “job creators” will help us all with when they get tax cuts??

Why doesn’t President Obama’s advisers/aides publicize more aggressively a list of all his accomplishments? The citizens of this country and the world need to know all of what he has accomplished. President Obama has done more in 2 years then Bush did in 8. Additionally, President Obama was left with cleaning up Bush’s mess.

This is HUGELY helpful! At our fingertips are all of Obama’s significant accomplishments to dispense to as many uninformed and in-denial conservatives as we can find. I’ve re-posted much of what’s written here. Thank you so much for taking the time to assemble such valuable information about our man, Obama.

HOT OFF THE PRESSES!!!

The national debt is spiraling out of control and being heaped upon our future generations to bear the insurmountable burden, along with extremely unethical Washington D.C. power-grabs being made by the worst president in U.S. history!

President Obama's 2012 'State of the Union' Address tonight is ...

FOR ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES ONLY!!!

It will obviously be more of a Campaign 2012 set-up, rather than for producing any viable actual facts contained therein.

ZZZZZZZZ ZZZ ZZZZZ

Yeah right, go ahead and vote for Obama and get some more of that 'same of the same' and 'business as usual', along with that stale old finger-pointing and blame-storming empty dry rhetoric (add sarcastic sneer here!).

Is Barack Obama a 1 Percenter? @ Viable Opposition

However the real question here is: "How much financial information has been sealed-up by President Barack Obama and hidden from public view through his general lack of transparency???"!!!

Just A Few Good Reasons NOT To Re-Elect President Obama:

#1. President Obama created the Green Energy Jobs Myth, lost $535 million hard-earned tax-payer dollars in the Solyndra (Solar Panel) Energy Scandal -- plus other Green bankruptcies that are being revealed right now.

#2. Guantanamo Bay prison colony is still in full operation today.

#3. Obama has continued much walking in the GOP footsteps by using the Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld wartime playbooks right down the line.

#4. Obama has allowed Lobbyists, Special Interest Groups & Republican control over the Healthcare Reform, which is still suspended in legal court battles to this day.

#5. Obama is gridlocked by the GOP, which translates into national stagnation!

$6. Obama most recently signed the National Defense Act (NDAA), which is a continuation of the Patriot Act on steroids!!

#7. Obama kisses so many different rings, that none of us are ever sure if he is a Democrat, Republican or just a wishy-washy Radical out on an aimless adventure.

#8. Obama is still nothing more than a loose-canon-unknown with NO established kudos of greatness to command the highest office in America.

#9. Obama has nearly NO TRANSPARENCY at all, and this started when he sealed-up all of his personal records and transcripts right after his January 2009 Inauguration Day.

#10. Obama is definitely NOT the one!!!

Have I missed any???

Oh Yes I have, about 99 more; such as Obama legalizes horse slaughter for human consumption and his unleashing the police brutality squads against those Occupy Movement activists also!!!

And on and on and on ...etc.

And which of the myriad of empty broken promises will President Obama actually keep, because that's the biggest real question going right now!!!

I notice that the Anti Obama Nation has been around for 3 years and has about 2o0 members. I would consider that a colossal failure!

The page says "quickly gaining recognition and is now becoming widely referenced by people across the Internet". Nobody has referenced this group except themselves.

What a joke.
