America did just fine without a federal income tax for the first 126 years of her history. Prior to 1913, the government operated with revenues raised through tariffs, excise taxes, and property taxes, without ever touching a worker's paycheck...

Is RON PAUL the only Presidential Candidate willing to obey Constitutional law and get rid of the LIE called the "IRS" ?

I can't imagine there is one American who wouldn't want to stop donating 1/3 of his earned income to the feds - dollars that are harder to earn today than ever before, dollars that are worth less (as in worthless) than ever before, dollars that the U.S. Constitution says the fed can not collect - the Constitution is the law of the land - yet here we are, illegally forced, under threat of imprisonment and loss of all assets, to hand-over our earned income to feed an insatiable money monster bent on destroying this country's economy, culture and global standing.

Our federal government is 'doing' exactly what our Founding Fathers ran away from (King George) when they founded this nation, our government is 'doing' exactly what the Constitution forbids. And we are letting them get away with it, and have been for the past 94 years. And just look at how the feds have handled our money. They 'killed' it.

I strongly agree Katii. How do we stop the money waste machine without going to prison, is the question that people have been asking for the past (almost) 100 years. Can a President stop the money machine when many have tried? Or without collapsing our economy? Politicians do not hold the reins when it comes to the "money holders" of the world and they actually have little to no control over them. On the contrary, its the other way around and its much like blackmail. Rather than another hand-tied complaint, how can it be fixed? Thanks for this old but extremely important news. Noted

As long as the U.S. currency is controlled by a private banking establishment, nothing can change. The U.S. Government needs to take back the control of its own currency. Just my opinion.

I wonder how long Americans are going to put up with being robbed.
