Kucinich is notably liberal. Fox is noted for its conservatism...Fans of Kucinich's politics -- his calls for a Department of Peace, his early opposition to wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, his desire to impeach Vice President Dick Cheney during the Bush adm

Okay, I freaked when I first saw that Dennis had signed on with FAUX News.. but it makes sense. Kucinich can hold his own with nut-jobs, the Democratic Party has already held him back & kept him from getting Real News air time - so FOX gets to the idiot masses that Dennis might be able to educate! Plus I hope they have to pay thru the nose!;)

Dennis is great; I simply wish that he were on any other network because I won't watch Faux no matter what.

I have to agree, Brian, I do not watch Fox, but sure would like to see them argue with their newest member. Part of me feels betrayed and another part feels glee - Dennis Kucinich can bring whole new perspective to those very low information listeners and watchers.

We'll have to see what happens here. But the Hosts on Fox are brutal and rarely let a democrat get the last word so they are able to do a switcherooo and make the democrat look weak or wrong.

Must say I'm not surprised, even so, I was first shocked. Thanks, my friend.

I must say that, considering my extreme admiration for him, I was so shocked by this news that I wanted to click my ruby slippers and keep repeating, "There's no place like home."

It's beyond comprehension . . . and beneath the intelligence/trust level I expected from him.

(I have NOT given up on him -- but I still can't grasp WHY????????)

Personally as much as I like Kucinich...I dislike FoxNews more so and to give their sponsors a boost for their talking heads telling their lies and spreading hate/misinformation 24/7 via their other programing..well it just isn't worth the trade off for me. Thus I will not be watching Kucinich as he and the sponsors at FoxNews try to attempt to raise the ratings of Fox and their credibility, which is about as low as a tabolid magazene from the 60-70's were.

Bad choice I think but it's his mistake to make in doing so,in my opinion .......just as it will be my choice not to watch their propaganda programing via their rightwing sponsors.

:-)

As a Kucinich fan, I was certainly surprised. And I'm certainly not a watcher of Fox News, but I'll be open to catching some bits with Dennis involved. It should be a hoot. And who knows, perhaps the Fox fans who have never dared to watch MSNBC will find some new ideas entering their consciousness. Oh, yeah... who are we kidding! ;-)

And thanks for posting, Yvonne. A shocker I might not have heard about without you.

Thanks everyone!:) I don't think even Dennis can get me to watch FAUX News..maybe if he'd went on The Simpsons instead - it's much more balanced & Less Cartoonish than FOX News!;) hehe.. Seriously though, to me this says he will NOT be running for higher offices & that makes me sadder than his going to the Dark Side. Maybe though it might make Democrats sit up & take notice of what they've Wasted!

Yvonne, et al., this is SO HARD for me to digest that I think we should contact his wife, Elizabeth, to ask if she feels a need for an intervention, and would like our assistance.

(And I'm only half kidding about that.)

I can't send more green stars Just C...but I'm afraid this is serious stuff & he is done with public office.

Hahahahahaha . . .

More than anything, knowing that Dennis is a vegan and a Quaker (I think), and very much anti-war, as well as being extremely empathetic to consideration of people's feelings -- I'm at a LOSS to understand this.

For pity's sake, it was hard enough to watch him, for years, not be taken seriously in Congress.

NOW, he's subjecting himself to the most abrasive, unqualified, loud-mouthed, ignorant "pretend news blabbermouths" on the air?

[While I've entertained the idea that he may be masochistic -- I dismissed it as my own exaggeration . . . but I DON'T GET IT!]

Last I heard, I thought he was Catholic (not that there's anything wrong with that - wink to Seinfeld)..but he May be a masochist, since he continues to support the Democratic Party that maginalized him (hmm, I am doing the same thing..better ask the psychiatrist about that..;)

Or maybe this is a way of "butching-up" for 2016???? Each election cycle the RepubliCONs have gotten more & more vicious, crazy, & Militant - maybe this is Dennis' way of bulking up & getting wicked-slick? By 2016 he could be the new Road Warrior President!:)

Could this be a sign that "fox" is actually considering becoming a sane, factually based news organization? Whoa lost my head there for a second using fox, sane and factual in the same sentence.

Well that certainly would be unexpected Edwin!:)
