As previously noted elsewhere, the study for the Fish and Wildlife Management Service was politicized, skewed, agenda driven, rather than science driven. As a result its findings were not determined properly, and it called for the removal of wolves from national protection...inappropriately.
Please tell the feds to get it right.

Is not yet listing--I signed in email earlier too, so it must be that NRDC hasn't got that option connected into their main website yet

Thanks, Mitch, for posting.
I've tried Kathleen's suggestion and got to the petition, but that could have been augmented by the fact that I'm a member and have signed the petition earlier today. Worth a try, though.

The most effective action you can do is to go directly to regulations.gov here:
http://www.regulations.gov/#!documentDetail;D=FWS-HQ-ES-2013-0073

And comment on the proposed delisting.

Idaho, Wyoming, Minnesota, and Wisconsin have developed extremely corrupt management. Idaho Dept of Fich and Game for instance, gains almost 1/2 their funding from sales of hunting licences and tags. What this means is that their decisions are made infavor of hunting lobby pressures.

Minnesota lost close to 30% of its formerly STABLE wolf population in just 2 years. Such state control through killing will fragment, extinguish, and genetically harm the wolf in a very short time.
You must mention that such overreduction is extremely deleterious to the species.
Understand that they do NOT care whether you find killing for pleasure immoral and atrocious.
Yet it is worthwhile to mention your anger and disgust at this practice.

Hunting must be returned to a solely subsistence activity, and wolf hunting has no place in the USA with its present culture and population.

Wolves have been shown by scientific studies to reduce erosion in areas where ungulate species unrestrained by this vital keystone of natural living systems has been killed off by humans. The human killing of wolves must end.
